She was born in Chennai and started her schooling in St Thomas Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai, She completed her MSC in Electronic Media at St. Thomas College of Arts and Science, Koyambedu, Chennai. She notably attained the university 1st rank in MSC Electronic Media at the University of Madras. [2]

Career

Monisha started her career as a one-day VJ at Sun TV Network. [3] She made her acting in conceptual videos produced by the Blacksheep group. [4] Monisha participated shows like Cooku with Comali season 4 and Top Cooku Dupe Cooku . She made her film debut with Maaveeran directed by Madonne Ashwin, featuring Sivakarthikeyan. [5] She also starred in television series such as Modern Love Chennai . Her upcoming projects is the second season of Suzhal . [6]

Maaveeran is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language superhero film directed by Madonne Ashwin and produced by Shanti Talkies. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the titular role, alongside Aditi Shankar, Saritha, Mysskin, Monisha Blessy, Yogi Babu and Sunil. In the film, Sathya, a cartoonist, starts hearing a voice after an accident, which tries to make him kill a corrupt minister, Jeyakodi.
