T.O.Y. is a German futurepop/synthpop band. The project was formerly known as Evils Toy, which was closer to electro-industrial in sound.
Placebo Effect was a German dark electro band formed in 1989.
Mentallo and the Fixer is the project name used by Texan electro-industrial musicians Gary Dassing (Mentallo) and Dwayne Dassing from 1988 to 1999, and by Gary Dassing alone from 1999 to the present day. The band has several releases on the American record label, Metropolis Records. They are named after two Marvel Comics characters.
Love is Colder Than Death, commonly abbreviated LiCTD or LICTD, is an early German neoclassical dark wave band that was one of the cornerstones to Hyperium Records' Heavenly Voices compilation series of the early 1990s. It is named after the 1969 Fassbinder film Liebe ist kälter als der Tod. The band's music is characterized by its extensive use of both romantic and classical styled male and female vocals. Founded by Ralf Donis, Maik Hartung, Sven Mertens, and Susann Heinrich in 1990, the band members and music have changed slightly since then. The first few LICTD albums were released on the Hyperium record label in Europe and on the new Metropolis Records label in the United States.

Pain Emission were an American electro-industrial group based in San Diego, California, United States. The original incarnation consisted of vocalist Shonn Bratlien and keyboardist Thomas Smith, who were assisted by lyricist Johan Sherriffs and live percussionist Barry Dost in the studio. They released two albums on COP International, Fidget in 1993 and The War Within the following year. The band ceased activities shortly after they released the EP Nudge in 1994.

Original Sin/Machine Religion is a split album by Factor 42 and Teknition, released in May 1991 by GPC Productions. The original cassettes came packaged in black plastic wrapped by wire mesh and included a ten-page booklet of information about the music. After the cassette was produced, Alex Kane began writing letters and sending tapes to art contacts worldwide. The song "Man Is the Animal" by Teknition was released on the anti-ivory themed 1992 various artists compilation The Cyberflesh Conspiracy by If It Moves....
