Morgenstund is the tenth studio album of the music project Schiller created by the German electronic musician Christopher von Deylen. The album was released on 22 March 2019. On this album, Schiller has collaborated with the singers Nena, Tricia McTeague, Yalda Abbasi, Schwarz, Jhyve and Rebecca Ferguson, the musicians Giorgio Moroder and Jan Blomqvist and the music group Tangerine Dream. It was released in different editions, including the limited "Ultra Deluxe Edition".
A new studio album was originally scheduled for autumn 2018. The album was produced between 2017 and 2018. On 3 September 2018, Schiller announced officially the release of a new album and the rescheduling of the release date to spring 2019. [4] The name of the album "Morgenstund" and its cover artwork were announced and revealed on 14 September 2018 on Facebook and YouTube. Von Deylen described the production of the album with the words: "Ich freue mich sehr auf "Morgenstund". Selten hat mir die Arbeit an einem neuen Werk soviel Freude gemacht". (Translation: I'm really looking forward to "Morgenstund". Rarely, working on a new work has given me so much pleasure.) [5]
A first song from the album, "Morgenstund" with singer Nena, [6] was released with different remixes on Spotify on 22 February 2019.
The first music video of the album, "Universe", had its world premiere on 2 March 2019 on YouTube. [7] The song was released then also on Spotify. A third song, "Avalanche" with SCHWARZ, was released on 8 March 2019. A second music video, Das Goldene Tor with Yalda Abbasi, had its world premiere on 9 March 2019 on YouTube and was also put on Spotify. [8] On 20 March 2019, the music video of Berlin Tehran had its world premiere exclusively on the homepage of the German news magazine Stern. [9] The song "Berlin Tehran" was first live performed during Schillers concert tour through the Iran in 2018. The complete album with the music videos to Universe, Das Goldene Tor, Shangri La, New Day, and Berlin Tehran was released on 22 March 2019 in the German-speaking countries. It was available on Spotify since 22 March 2019.

Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese the only constant member until his death in January 2015. The best-known lineup of the group was its mid-1970s trio of Froese, Christopher Franke, and Peter Baumann. In 1979, Johannes Schmoelling replaced Baumann until his own departure in 1985. This lineup was notable for composing many movie soundtracks. Since Froese's death in 2015, the group has been under the leadership of Thorsten Quaeschning. Quaeschning is Froese's chosen successor and is currently the longest-serving band member, having joined in 2005. Quaeschning is currently joined by violinist Hoshiko Yamane who joined in 2011 and Paul Frick who joined in 2020. Prior to this Quaeschning and Yamane performed with Ulrich Schnauss from 2014 to 2020. Schnauss only played two shows with Froese in November 2014 before Froese's passing.
Gabriele Susanne Kerner, better known by her stage name Nena, is a German singer who rose to international fame in 1983 as the lead vocalist of the band Nena with the Neue Deutsche Welle song "99 Luftballons". In that same year, the band re-recorded this song in English as "99 Red Balloons". Nena's re-recording of some of the band's old hit songs as a solo artist, produced by the co-composer of most of them, her former Nena band colleague and keyboard player Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, rekindled her solo career in 2002. Combined with the success of the Nena band years, she has sold over 25 million records, making her the most successful German pop singer in chart history.
Schiller is a German electronic music band. It was formed in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member.

The album was recorded in Iceland and released on 2 November 2012 by The Laugh and Peas Company, the record label run by Nena and her partner Philipp Palm. The cover artwork is designed by Nena's daughter Larissa, and her son Sakias duets with her on a couple of tracks. The album peaked at No. 2 in the German album charts.

The album was announced on July 1, 2013 and was released on August 30, 2013. On this album Schiller has collaborated with Russian operatic soprano Anna Netrebko, French pianist Hélène Grimaud and German classical oboist Albrecht Mayer. Opus is the first release of the new label "Panorama" by Deutsche Grammophon. The album reached in its first week number 1 of the German albums chart and number 6 in Switzerland and number 10 in Austria. These are the highest entries of Schiller in Austria and Switzerland and the fourth number-1-album of Schiller in Germany. Schiller has received a Gold award in Germany in December 2013 for 100.000 sold albums of Opus. In 2014 a reedition of the album was released: Opus - White Album.

"Try" is the first single from the 2010 Schiller gold album Atemlos with vocals by singer Nadia Ali from New York City. The single was officially released on 9 March 2010 and peaked at number 58 on German Singles Chart in 2010. The single includes the song ″Salton Sea″. The trance music single was officially released on 29 November 1999 in Germany and was peaking at number 24 on German Singles Chart in 1999 and at number 69 in Switzerland. Thorsten Quaeschning is a German musician. He is the bandleader of the electronic music group Tangerine Dream which he joined in 2005. He was chosen to continue as leader of the group by founder Edgar Froese shortly before his death in 2015. He performs synthesizers, vocals, guitar and drums.

Inferno is the first album to feature percussionist Iris Camaa who remained with the group until 2014.
Summer in Berlin is the eleventh studio album of the music project Schiller, created by the German electronic musician Christopher von Deylen. The album was released on 12 February 2021. On this album Schiller has collaborated with the singers Tricia McTeague and Janet Devlin, the musician Quaeschning from Tangerine Dream and the music group Alphaville. It will be released in different editions, including the limited "Super Deluxe Edition".
