This is a listing of releases by Schiller , a German music project. Schiller released their debut studio album Zeitgeist (Spirit of the Time) on 16 August 1999. Schiller has seven albums that have topped the charts in Germany, Weltreise (2001), Sehnsucht (2008), Sonne (2012), Opus (2013), Future (2016), Morgenstund (2019), Summer in Berlin (2021). [1] 4 of Schiller's albums have been certified Platinum in Germany, with an additional five albums certified Gold. [2]
The single "Sonne" with Unheilig holds the highest entry of all the singles on the German Singles Chart with a peak position of No.12. [3] To this day, Schiller have had minor success in the English speaking world, charting at No.17 in the UK with the single "Das Glockenspiel" and No.5 on the U.S. Dance Chart with "Leben… I Feel You" with Heppner. In Extremo is a German Medieval metal band originating from Berlin. The band's musical style combines metal with Medieval traditional songs, blending the sound of the standard rock/metal instruments with historical instruments. Versions of well-known traditional/Medieval ballads make up the main part of their repertoire, but the band has written an increasing share of original material in recent years. Their own material is written in German, whilst the traditional songs and cover songs are in a variety of languages.
Klee is a German pop band from Cologne. Named after German painter Paul Klee, the band was formed in 2002 by singer Suzie Kerstgens and musicians Sten Servaes and Tom Deininger. Klee's brand of pop music incorporates electronic as well as acoustic sounds and, in more recent years, the band has embraced chanson and schlager. Four of Klee's albums have entered the top 30 of the German albums chart.
Jasmin Wagner, better known as Blümchen, is a German pop and dance music singer. Although she releases her English albums under the name Blossom, her German stage name Blümchen actually translates to "floret" or "small flower".
Peter Schilling is a German synthpop musician whose songs often feature science-fiction themes like aliens, astronauts and catastrophes. He is best-known for his 1983 hit single "Major Tom " which was an international success.
Schiller is a German electronic music band. It was formed in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member.
Letzte Instanz is a German violin-rock band, founded in Dresden, Germany, in 1996, particularly noted for their use of the violin and cello. "Leben… I Feel You" is the second single from the 2003 Schiller album Leben with vocals by Peter Heppner. The song was officially released on 1 October 2003 and peaked at number 15 in the German singles chart and at number 1 in the Romanian singles chart in 2004. It is the second co-operation between Schiller and the German singer Heppner after the song "Dream of You". The single and music video version differs slightly from the album version; the video version has a length of 3:49 minutes and the album version has a length of 5:35 minutes. The single includes the song ″Vielklang″, which was not released on any album.
"Die Nacht… Du bist nicht allein" is the first single from the 2005 Schiller album Tag und Nacht with vocals by German singer Thomas D. and his wife Tina Dürr. The single was released on 14 October 2005 and peaked at number 24 on German singles chart in 2005. The single includes the song "Sonnenaufgang". The cover art work shows a graphic of the moon. The music video was shot in Berlin.
