Canadian indie rock band Mother Mother has released nine studio albums, four live albums, 34 singles, two extended plays (EPs), and 35 music videos. The band was formed in 2005 in Quadra Island, British Columbia and currently consists of Ryan Guldemond, Molly Guldemond, Jasmin Parkin, Ali Siadat, and Mike Young.

"Breaking the Habit" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. It is the ninth track from their second studio album, Meteora, and was released as the fifth and final single from the album. The song was a hit and it became the fifth consecutive single from Meteora to reach number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, a feat unmatched by any other artist in the history of that chart. "Lost in Yesterday" is a song by Australian psychedelic music project Tame Impala. It is the eighth track on the 2020 album The Slow Rush, and was released as its fourth single on 8 January 2020. The song was written by Kevin Parker, who performed all instruments and vocals.

"Black Summer" is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers and is the first single from their twelfth studio album, Unlimited Love. The single was released on February 4, 2022, and it was their first song in 16 years to feature guitarist John Frusciante, following his return to the band in 2019.

"Hayloft", later re-released as "Hayloft I", is a 2008 song by Canadian indie rock band Mother Mother. It is the eighth song from their second studio album, O My Heart. The song tells the story of two young lovers unsuccessfully attempting to hide from the armed father of one of the pair. It did not find commercial success upon release, but attracted attention twelve years later from users on TikTok. The belated success of "Hayloft" led Mother Mother to release "Hayloft II", a sequel song that concludes the story.
