"Move On" is the second chart single from David Jordan, taken from his first album Set the Mood . "Move On" peaked at number 68 on the UK Singles Chart.
Alex Fletcher of Digital Spy Chart Blog gave the song a positive review stating:
With a dash of Terence Trent D'Arby, a fair dollop of Justin Timberlake and a sprinkling of Prince, David Jordan looks to have stumbled upon a recipe for chart success. His first release 'Place In My Heart' got critics' tongues wagging, while his last single 'Sun Goes Down' had plenty of fans splashing their pocket money, bagging the Barnet-born warbler a number four chart spot. With his debut album Set The Mood wriggling up the top 40, it's perfect timing for release number three.
His latest titbit, 'Move On', follows a similar formula to his last two releases, focusing on Jordan's ability to switch between piercing falsetto and husky warbling at the drop of a beat. It ticks all the right boxes, with a crunching rhythm, plenty of zoom sound effects and a superb vocal performance from the 23-year-old. Unfortunately, it does little else beyond that and occasionally slips into boyband parody with ultra-emotional crooning and tacky breakdowns that were probably last heard on a 5ive record. Fortunately, behind all that, Jordan's obvious talents shine through, meaning his march towards pop stardom should continue uninterrupted.

Busted are an English rock band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. Formed in 2000, the band had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards, released four studio albums and sold over 5 million records. The band released - Busted (2002) and A Present for Everyone (2003) - before disbanding in January 2005. Following the split, all three members pursued separate musical careers: Simpson as the frontman for the post-hardcore band Fightstar, Bourne as the lead singer of pop punk band Son of Dork and Willis as a solo artist.
Boyzone were an Irish boy band. They were put together in 1993 by Louis Walsh, who is also known for managing Johnny Logan and Westlife. Before even recording any material, Boyzone made an appearance on RTÉ's The Late Late Show. Set the Mood is the debut studio album of British singer-songwriter David Jordan. Before the release of the album, Jordan had written between 60 and 100 songs. These songs were then whittled down to 11 for the final track listing of Set the Mood. The album was produced by Trevor Horn, who has also worked with Seal and the English dance-pop band Frankie Goes To Hollywood. "Place in My Heart" was released as Set the Mood's lead single on 22 October. The album was released simultaneously in the UK, France and Germany a week later. Set the Mood and Jordan received many positive reviews following the album's 29 October release. The singer was dubbed the British version of Justin Timberlake, and compared with artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Prince and Michael Jackson.
The Saturdays are an English girl group based in London, England. The group formed during the summer of 2007 and have been on hiatus since 2014. The lineup consists of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Vanessa White. They were formed through Fascination Records, a sub-division of Polydor Records, who gave them an instant record deal with the label. As soon as the contract was finalised, the Saturdays went on tour with Girls Aloud during their Tangled Up Tour. The group's music style is pop, however throughout their career their management have experimented with dance-pop and electropop. Throughout their career, songwriters and producers Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac, Camille Purcell, and Quiz & Larossi have been heavily involved to help create their music.

Lawson are an English pop rock band, consisting of Andy Brown, Ryan Fletcher, Joel Peat and Adam Pitts. They are named after Liverpool-based surgeon David Lawson who performed life-saving surgery on Andy Brown.
