Move Records is an Australian record label that was started in 1968 by Martin Wright. It focuses primarily on classical and jazz music, particularly Australian, and features most frequently Melbourne-based musicians and composers. [1]

The label has specialised in recording classical pipe organs, many of which have great historical interest. These have included the bamboo organ in Manila, the Sydney Opera House organ, Melbourne and Sydney Town Hall organs, and many smaller instruments from the German-settled Barossa Valley in South Australia, and gold-rush Ballarat area of Victoria.

Anthony Peter Pateras is an Australian-born composer, pianist and electronic musician. He has released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists. Pateras has performed and recorded in Australia, North America and Europe. At the APRA Music Awards' Art Music Awards, he has been nominated three times: 2011 for Performance of the Year for his composition, Refractions, performed by Clocked Out and Speak Percussion; 2012 for Work of the Year – Instrumental for Flesh and Ghost performed by Speak Percussion; and 2015 for Performance of the Year for Beauty Will Be Amnesiac or Will not Be at All performed by Synergy Percussion.

Timothy Robert Rollinson in Bolton, England is an Australian jazz guitarist and composer who was a founder of the acid jazz group Directions in Groove (D.I.G.) as well as his own trio, quartets and studio project, The Modern Congress. His work for D.I.G. included winning two APRA Awards for song writing, 1994 'Best Jazz Composition' for "Favourite" and 1996 'Most Performed Jazz Work' for "Futures". Brian Ernest Austin Brown OAM was an Australian jazz musician and educator. He played the soprano and tenor saxophones, flutes, synthesisers, panpipes and a leather bowhorn. In 1993 Brown was awarded the Order of Australia for service to the performing arts as a jazz performer, educator and composer.
