Daniel Dumile, best known by his stage name MF Doom or simply Doom, was a British-American rapper and record producer. Noted for his intricate wordplay, signature metal mask, and "supervillain" stage persona, Dumile became a major figure of underground hip hop and alternative hip hop in the 2000s. After his death, Variety described him as one of the scene's "most celebrated, unpredictable and enigmatic figures".
Madvillainy is the only studio album by American hip hop duo Madvillain, consisting of rapper MF Doom and producer Madlib. It was released on March 23, 2004, on Stones Throw Records.
KMD was an American hip hop trio active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The core of the group was composed of brothers Daniel "Zev Love X" Dumile and Dingilizwe "DJ Subroc" Dumile. The group's original third member, Jade 1, left before the group signed with Elektra Records, being replaced with Onyx the Birthstone Kid. The group dissolved in 1994 following the departure of Onyx, the sudden death of DJ Subroc in 1993, and conflicts with Elektra that resulted in them being dropped from the label.

Black Bastards is the second and final studio album by American hip hop group KMD, recorded in 1993 and eventually released on May 15, 2000, through Readyrock Records. Initially, the album was scheduled for release in May 1994, but Elektra Records canceled the album, reportedly due to the controversial cover art, which shows a Sambo figure being lynched. Zev Love X's brother DJ Subroc was killed when he was struck by a car shortly before the album was completed, and subsequent releases of the album have featured dedications to him.

Production was handled by member DJ Mighty Mi, who also served as executive producer together with his The High & Mighty partner Mr. Eon. It features guest appearances from Copywrite, Kool G Rap, Kool Keith, R.A. the Rugged Man, Apani B. Fly, Lord Sear and Beetlejuice. The album peaked at number 184 on the Billboard 200, number 43 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 10 in the Heatseekers Albums in the United States. It was re-released as Porn Again Revisited on March 7, 2006, via Eastern Conference Records, with four bonus tracks that were formerly only available on vinyl.

At Your Own Risk is the second studio album by American West Coast hip hop artist King Tee. It was released on September 24, 1990 via Capitol Records. Production was handled by several record producers, including DJ Pooh, E-Swift, Bilal Bashir, Bronick Wrobleski, J.R. Coes, DJ Aladdin, and King T himself. It also features guest appearances provided by Ice Cube and Breeze on the album's final track "Played Like a Piano". The album spawned four singles: "Ruff Rhyme ", "Diss You", "At Your Own Risk" and "Played Like a Piano", which were later included on the rapper's greatest hits album titled Ruff Rhymes: Greatest Hits Collection.

By the time of this album, Mr. Mixx had again left the group and shortly after the release of this album, Brother Marquis left as well.
