Muhammad Hanif Wijaya (born 22 November 1996) is an Indonesian competitive archer. [1] He competed as a member of the Indonesian archery squad in major international tournaments, spanning the World Championships, Asian Championships, and the 2016 Summer Olympics. [2]
Wijaya was selected to compete for Indonesia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, shooting in both individual and team recurve tournaments. [3] First, Wijaya amassed a total of 647 points out of a maximum 720 to obtain a forty-ninth seed heading to the knockout stage, along with his team's score of 1,962 collected from the classification round. [4] Sitting at tenth in the men's team recurve, Wijaya and his compatriots Riau Ega Agatha and Hendra Purnama put up a more tremendous effort by trouncing Chinese Taipei in the opening round, before they faced their quarterfinal match against the Americans, which led to the trio's early departure from the competition at 2–6. [5] [6] In the men's individual recurve, Wijaya succumbed to the two-time medalist Mauro Nespoli of Italy in the opening round match with a score of 1–7. [7] [8]
Bombayla Devi Laishram is an Indian archer. A member of the national recurve team representing India at the international events since 2007, she has won a silver medal at the World Archery Championships, and four gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at various editions of the Archery World Cup. Patrick Huston is a British two-time Olympian archer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He captured three world championship titles under the youth level, and eventually competed as a member of the two person archery squad of Team GB at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio, losing the first round match to the eventual champion Ku Bon-chan of South Korea. In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics his best result was a men's team 5th. Huston currently lives near Lilleshall National Sporting Centre and trained full-time under senior national coach Richard Priestman for Archery UK, while remaining a loyal founding member of East Belfast Archery Club. Hendra Purnama is an Indonesian competitive archer. He competed as a member of the Indonesian archery squad in major international tournaments, spanning the World Championships, Asian Championships, 2014 Summer Youth Olympics, and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
David Pasqualucci is an Italian competitive archer. He won a silver medal in the men's team recurve at the 2015 World Championships, and also competed as a member of Italy's archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He currently trains under the tutelage of his coaches Fabio Pivari and Wietse van Alten, a Sydney 2000 Olympian from the Netherlands, for the Italian team, while shooting at the Tempio di Diana Archery Range in Rome.

Indonesia competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were rescheduled for 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the nation's sixteenth appearance at the Summer Olympics.
