Muhammad Husain (born 29 December 1951) was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Pasir Puteh constituency in Kelantan from 2008 to 2013. He sat in Parliament as a member of Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition. [1] After leaving Parliament he joined 'Parti Ummah Sejahtera Malaysia',a PAS splinter movement formed out of concerns that the party was being insufficiently cooperative with its coalition allies,the Democratic Action Party and the People's Justice Party. [2] In 2015,he joined Parti Amanah Negara (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) new opposition coalition.

The Malaysian Islamic Party is an Islamist political party in Malaysia. As the party focused on Islamic fundamentalism,PAS's electoral base are largely in Peninsular Malaysia's rural and conservative northern and eastern coasts,particularly in the states of Kelantan,Kedah,Perlis,Terengganu &Pahang. They also gain significant support in the rural area of Penang,Perak,Selangor &Malacca in the last 2022 Malaysian general election.

The People's Alliance was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA). The political coalition was formed by the People's Justice Party (PKR),Democratic Action Party (DAP),and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) on 1 April 2008,after the 12th Malaysian general election,having previously formed the Barisan Alternatif in the 10th general election. On 20 April 2010,the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) officially joined as a member of the Pakatan Rakyat after being expelled from Barisan Nasional,but quit the coalition on 6 May 2011. The DAP declared the coalition "dead" on 16 June 2015,citing the inability of the rest of the alliance to work with PAS,after PAS's congress passed the motion to sever ties with DAP without debate. It was succeeded by Pakatan Harapan and Gagasan Sejahtera.
Wan Abdul Rahim bin Wan Abdullah is a Malaysian politician and was a former member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Kota Bharu constituency in Kelantan from 2008 to 2013 representing the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) opposition coalition. However,since 2015,he has joined Parti Amanah Negara (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) new opposition coalition. Wan Abdul Rahim is also known popularly as Cikgu Rahim.
Datuk Seri Salahuddin bin Ayub is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in the PH administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from May 2018 to his resignation and the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pulai since May 2018 and for Kubang Kerian from March 2004 to May 2013 as well as Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Simpang Jeram since May 2018. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of PH coalition. He has served as the 1st and founding Deputy President of AMANAH since September 2015 and State Chairman of PH of Johor since September 2022.He was previously a member,Youth Chief and Vice-President of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of the former Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and Barisan Alternatif (BA) opposition coalitions. But he together with a few other progressive leaders led by Mohamad referred as G18 were ousted during the 2015 PAS Muktamar which had launched Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) and founded AMANAH.
Datuk Wira Mohd Hatta bin Md. Ramli is a Malaysian politician and physician who has served as the Senator since March 2023. He served as the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lumut from May 2018 to November 2022 and for Kuala Krai from March 2008 to May 2018. Mujahid Yusof Rawa,is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Religious Affairs in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Parit Buntar since March 2008. This is a list of the members of the Dewan Rakyat of the 13th Parliament of Malaysia. The opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat that contested the general elections in 2013 was dissolved after series of disagreements between two main parties,Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). A new opposition coalition Pakatan Harapan was formed by the DAP,People's Justice Party (PKR) and newly formed party National Trust Party (AMANAH),consisting of ex-PAS members. Several ex-UMNO members have also formed their own party Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and have signed an electoral pact with Pakatan Harapan to contest the future general election and ensure straight fights against Barisan Nasional. On 20 March 2017 BERSATU officially became a member of Pakatan Harapan.
The Alliance of Hope is a Malaysian political coalition consisting of centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. It has been the ruling coalition since November 2022 after it formed the coalition government with other political coalitions and parties as a result of the 2022 Malaysian general election,and after it won the 2018 Malaysian general election to February 2020 when it lost power as a result of the 2020 Malaysian political crisis at the federal level for 22 months. The coalition deposed the Barisan Nasional coalition government during the 2018 election,ending its 60-year-long reign since independence.
The Gagasan Sejahtera was a coalition of opposition Islamist political parties which promote the "ideas of peace" in Malaysia. The informal electoral pact was formed initially on 16 March 2016 by Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (IKATAN) as a Third Force to face both ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) and the opposition Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions in the upcoming 2018 Malaysian general election (GE14). It had announced on 13 August 2016 the pact to be formally called Gagasan Sejahtera. Pan-Malaysian Islamic Front (BERJASA) had later joined the coalition on 23 September 2016. The formation of the alliance brought criticism from both the main coalitions of BN and PH.
The Malaysian United Indigenous Party,abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM,is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia. It is a major component party within the Perikatan Nasional coalition. BERSATU was approved and registered on 14 January 2017 by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and the use of the BERSATU logo was authorized by the Malaysian Election Commission (SPR). The party held the Prime Ministerial position as well as the majority of positions in the cabinet from May 2020 to August 2021. The party's founding members came from the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and Barisan Nasional rebel group Gabungan Ketua Cawangan Malaysia in 2016.

He also served as the 1st and founding Secretary-General of AMANAH from September 2015 to December 2019.
Tan Sri Dato' Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof is a Malaysian politician who served as the 9th Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat,the lower chamber of the Parliament of Malaysia from July 2018 to his removal from speakership in July 2020. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition. He resigned from all AMANAH party positions but not membership to become more impartial after being appointed to the Dewan Rakyat speakership. Therefore,he remains an AMANAH ordinary member.
The 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis was caused by several members of the 14th parliament (MPs) changing party support,leading to the loss of a parliamentary majority,the collapse of two successive coalition governments,and the resignation of two Prime Ministers. The political crisis led to a 2022 snap general election and eventual formation of a national unity government.
The National Alliance is a political coalition composed of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party,Malaysian Islamic Party and Malaysian People's Movement Party. This coalition was preceded by the Malaysian Party Alliance Association,also known as the Persatuan Perikatan Parti Malaysia (PPPM). It is the second largest political coalition in Dewan Rakyat with 74 seats after Pakatan Harapan (PH) with 82 seats.
The 12th Perak election was held on 5 May 2013. Polling took place in 59 constituencies throughout the State of Perak,with each electing a State Assemblyman to the Perak State Legislative Assembly. The election was conducted by the Malaysian Election Commission.
