Bliss n Eso are an Australian hip hop trio based in Sydney. They are currently signed to Melbourne record label Illusive Sounds, and are managed and booked by label co-founders Adam Jankie and Matt Gudinski. Bliss n Eso have released seven studio albums which include three number 1 debuts on the ARIA Charts. They have also won two ARIA Awards for Best Urban Release for their 2008 album Flying Colours and for Best Music Video for their 2017 single "Moments". Eso, under his alias Esoterik, released an album entitled "My Astral Plane" in May 2018.

Perry Chapman, better known by his stage name Pez, is an Australian hip hop recording artist from Melbourne, Australia. He attended Kew High School in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. His debut album, A Mind of My Own peaked at No. 19 on the ARIA Urban albums chart.
"Jai Ho! " is a song by Indian composer A. R. Rahman and American girl group the Pussycat Dolls, recorded for the re-release of the group's second studio album Doll Domination (2008) and their EP Doll Domination – The Mini Collection (2009). It was released on February 23, 2009, by Interscope Records as the fourth single from the album and is an English remake of the original Hindi song "Jai Ho" which is taken from the soundtrack to the hit film Slumdog Millionaire (2008). The remake was conceived by record executives Jimmy Iovine and Ron Fair who tasked the Dolls' lead singer Nicole Scherzinger with creating a pop record that did not deviate from the original melody. Iovine and Fair also asked a number of other writers to create interpretations of the song, including Brick & Lace, The Writing Camp and Ester Dean. The final English version of "Jai Ho" was dubbed "Jai Ho! " and is sometimes also referred to as the "RF Mix" or "Ron Fair" Remix.
"Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)" is a song by R&B recording artist Lloyd, released on August 9, 2011 as the third single from his fourth studio album, King of Hearts (2011). The song, produced by Polow da Don and D. Smith from Zone 4 productions, features a verse from André 3000 of Outkast and is "narrated" by Lloyd's frequent collaborator and fellow New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. The brass instrumentation was performed by Siraaj Amnesia James. The song was edited for radio in the United Kingdom (among other places), replacing the word "pussy" with "lovin'". The single performed average domestically, but reached the top 5 in the UK, Australia, and Ireland, also reaching the top 10 in Denmark, Netherlands and Austria. The song is Lloyd's biggest hit internationally to date.

Bliss N Eso began recording the album in late 2012. The album revolves around themes such as optimism, freedom, and peace. The album instantly reached No. 1 on the iTunes albums chart upon release, and debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album was positively received and was accredited gold. Bliss N Eso toured in support for the album on the House Of Dreams Tour in 2013 and the Circus Under The Stars Tour in 2014. Circus In The Sky was nominated for an ARIA Music Award for Best Urban Album.
