Myx Music Awards 2014 is the 9th installment of the Myx Music Awards. Back to 90s Just like the MMA 2012 and MMA 2013, fans can vote online through Myx website, Facebook and Twitter. Awards night was held on March 26, 2014. Gloc-9 leads other artists of having the most number of nominations with seven nominations. The song "Magda" won four awards making Gloc-9 and Rico Blanco the biggest winners of the awards night. [1]

Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo is a Filipino singer and actress. Her accolades include a Billboard Women in Music Award, 16 Awit Awards, and 28 Myx Music Awards. Tatler magazine named her one of the most influential people in Asia in 2021, and Billboard Philippines named her as the Woman of the Year in 2024.
Parokya ni Edgar is a Filipino rock band formed in 1993, composed of Chito Miranda, Gab Chee Kee, Buwi Meneses, Darius Semaña, Dindin Moreno, and Vinci Montaner. The band is known for its original rock novelty songs and often satirical covers of popular songs both foreign and local. The band is adept at playing in various musical genres.
Josephine "Yeng" Eusebio Constantino-Asuncion is a Filipino singer, songwriter, composer and guitarist. She is referred to as the Philippines Pop Rock Royalty and is regarded as one of the biggest hitmakers in Philippine music industry. In 2006, she won the title "Grand Star Dreamer" in the inaugural season of Pinoy Dream Academy, the Philippine edition of Endemol's reality TV show Star Academy.
The Myx Music Awards, currently known as the Myx Awards, are accolades presented by the cable channel Myx to honor the biggest hitmakers in the Philippines. The awards ceremony is held annually and occurs most commonly in March, and broadcast delayed on Myx. Myx viewers from all over the Philippines decide the winners in 17 major categories via SMS text messaging by 2010 it is 60% fan votes through internet and 40% artists votes.

Aristotle Condenuevo Pollisco, known professionally as Gloc-9, is a Filipino rapper, singer, and songwriter. Regarded as one of the best Filipino rappers of all time, his fast-flowing vocal style has made him one of the best-selling and most successful hip-hop artists in the Philippines. He was described by fellow Filipino rapper Francis Magalona as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet."

The Nickelodeon Philippines Kids' Choice Awards was an annual awards show which brought honors year's biggest TV and sports personalities voted by kids and teenagers through text and online voting. Nickelodeon, a US cable television network, brought Kids' Choice Awards to the Philippines in an effort to strengthen its presence in Asia. Filipino singer Jona has released two studio albums, one extended play and fifteen singles. In addition, her songs have been used in 23 films and television series. In 2005, she won the television talent show Pinoy Pop Superstar and released her solo debut album On My Own the same year. It was certified Gold by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), selling 15,000 units in the country. In 2013, she released her debut EP Jonalyn Viray under Creative Media Entertainment. Upon release, it became one of Astrovision /Astroplus best sellers and spawned the commercially successful single "Help Me Get Over". The song won 'Song of the Year' at the 6th PMPC Star Awards for Music and earned nominations at Myx Music Awards.
