Rivermaya is a Filipino alternative rock band. Formed in 1994, it is one of the several bands who spearheaded the 1990s Philippine alternative rock explosion.

The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, are a Filipino musical group, that comprised Danny Javier, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo. Today, the group consists of only Paredes and Garrovillo as a duo.
Hotdog, currently performing as Sound of Manila, is a Filipino band formed by brothers Dennis and Rene Garcia that achieved fame in the Philippines during the mid-1970s. Their first album, Unang Kagat, was released in 1974 by Villar Records. The album led to the 1975 movie of the same name, also starring the band. The band was credited by local journalists as a major influence on and leading exponent of the Manila Sound, a musical genre popular during that period.

He was described by fellow Filipino rapper Francis Magalona as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet."
Popstar: A Dream Come True is the debut album by Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo, released on September 11, 2003, in the Philippines by Viva Records. It was produced by Vincent del Rosario. After winning the grand champion title on Star for a Night, she signed a recording contract with the label and immediately recorded and released her first album. The album was a collaboration of the most respected composers, namely, Vehnee Saturno, Ogie Alcasid, George Canseco, Wency Cornejo and Jun Murillo. The album includes her winning cover of the Celine Dion hit single "To Love You More", which was also released as the first single. The album was a commercial success peaking at number one in the Philippine Top 10 Albums chart, and remained number one position for five weeks. It was the 2003's best selling album in the Philippines. It is considered as the best-selling debut album in the Philippines selling more than 210,000 units which was certified 7× Platinum in 2006. To date, the album had sold 300,000 copies in the Philippines making it the eight best-selling album in the country.

Awards night was held on March 26, 2014. Gloc-9 leads other artists of having the most number of nominations with seven nominations. The song "Magda" won four awards making Gloc-9 and Rico Blanco the biggest winners of the awards night.
