The MYX Magna Award is a special award presented annually by Myx. It was first awarded at the first Myx Music Awards in 2006; Sharon Cuneta won the award, and it is given in honor of a music icon with an exemplary contribution in the Philippine music industry. [1]

Stanford Talisman is a student a cappella group at Stanford University, dedicated to sharing stories through music. Started in 1990 by Stanford student Joseph Pigato, their roots are in music from South Africa and the African diaspora, but they have since broadened their horizons to include music from all over the world. They perform not only locally in the greater San Francisco Bay Area but also around the world. Their most recent tour was to Mumbai and Udaipur, India, in spring of 2019. The group has also traveled to South Africa (2016) and Hawai'i (2018). "Kaleidoscope World" is a 1995 song performed by the Filipino rapper Francis Magalona. It was first included in his 1995 studio album FreeMan. The song is also included in a later album, Best of FrancisM.

Pinoy pop refers to a contemporary pop music in the Philippines originating from the OPM genre. With its beginnings in the late 1970s, Pinoy pop is a growing genre in year of the 2020s. Through the 1990s to the 2000s, Pinoy pop was regularly showcased in the live band scene.

Himig Handog is a multimedia songwriting and music video competition in the Philippines based in Quezon City. The competition is operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and its music subsidiary Star Music. The contest ran from 2000 to 2003 and was later revived in 2013. The theme of the contest has been love songs since 2002.

S. R. Prabhu is an Indian film producer. During his tenure at Studio Green (2010–13), he has produced 10 Tamil films and distributed 16 films in Tamil and Telugu. Later he founded Dream Warrior Pictures, a film production company in which his brother S. R. Prakashbabu has become partner in 2014. He is also a partner in Potential Studios, which is another film production company. S. R. Prabhu is a relative of the veteran actor Sivakumar and cousin of actors Suriya and Karthi.

The first season of Your Face Sounds Familiar was a singing and impersonation competition for celebrities and was based on the Spanish version of the same name. It aired on March 14, 2015 in ABS-CBN and ended on June 7, 2015. It was hosted by Billy Crawford; Jed Madela, Gary Valenciano, and Sharon Cuneta served as the show's judges.

The second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar was a singing and impersonation competition for celebrities on ABS-CBN. Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela reprise their duties as judges. Billy Crawford also returns as host; however, he is accompanied by Melai Cantiveros, the winner of the first season.

Myx Music Awards 2018 was the 13th installment of the Myx Music Awards, acknowledging the biggest hit makers of 2017 in the Philippine music industry. For the seventh consecutive year, fans could vote online through the Myx website.

The second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids was a singing and impersonation competition for child celebrities on ABS-CBN. Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and Ogie Alcasid reprised their jury duties. Jed Madela, a judge in the first and second seasons of the regular edition, and Nyoy Volante, season 1 runner-up, served as the mentors of the contestants. Billy Crawford also returns as the host.
