Myx Awards 2021 is the 16th installment of the Myx Music Awards, acknowledging the biggest hit makers of 2020 in the Philippine music industry. The awards were held virtually for the second time (since 2020) due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Contents

Nominees were announced on June 19, 2021 through the music channel's digital accounts on Kumu, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube livestream. [1] Ben&Ben led the nominees with five nominations, Moira Dela Torre with four, and SB19 with three. [2] For the tenth consecutive year, fans are voting online through the Myx website. [2] Apart from online voting, fans can also vote through Kumu and Twitter. [3] Voting ended on July 18. [4]

Pebble House, Vol. 1: Kuwaderno is the second studio album by Filipino indie folk/folk pop band Ben&Ben. It features 12 tracks written in Filipino, including six collaborations with other Filipino artists. The album was released on 29 August 2021 under Sony Music Philippines. All tracks in this album were included on Spotify's Top 200 chart in three days, seven of which were included on the Top 100 charts of the same music streaming platform.

Zack Nimrod D. Tabudlo is a Filipino singer and songwriter. He was first seen as a contestant on the first season of The Voice Kids under Bamboo Mañalac's mentorship, where he was eliminated in the competition's second round. He later began his musical career in 2018 before he rose to fame in 2020 when he joined MCA Music through sub-label Island Records Philippines.

The 34th Awit Awards were held on November 29, 2021. Indie pop duo Leanne & Naara and folk pop band Ben&Ben led the nominations with seven, and won the awards for Album of the Year and Record of the Year, respectively. The Song of the Year category was awarded to Moira Dela Torre and Jason Marvin's work of "Paubaya".

"Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" is a song by the Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben. It was written by the lead vocalists Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin Guico. The track was released on February 28, 2020. Three years after its release, "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" reached number three on Billboard's Philippines Songs in early 2024.
