Daggubati Ramanaidu was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He founded Suresh Productions in 1964 which became of one of the largest film production companies in India. He was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, with more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages. He also served as a Member of Parliament for the Bapatla constituency in Andhra Pradesh in the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004.

Maa Bhoomi is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language social problem film directed by Goutam Ghose in his debut. The film is produced by B. Narsing Rao, who also wrote the film with Goutam Ghose. The film is based on the novel Jab Khet Jage by Krishan Chander on the Telangana Rebellion in Hyderabad State. It depicts a typical life of villagers under feudalistic society in the Telangana region. The film features Sai Chand, Rami Reddy and Telangana Shakuntala in pivotal roles. The plot follows Ramayya, a landless peasant who joins the Telangana Rebellion of 1948.
K. Pratyagatma, also known as K. P. Atma was an Indian film journalist, director and producer known for his works in Telugu and Hindi cinema. He has garnered three National Film Awards.
Jaya Prakash Reddy was an Indian actor who predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Born in Sirvel of Andhra Pradesh, he came into the limelight with the film Samarasimha Reddy (1999) where he played the role of Veera Raghava Reddy. He acted as an antagonist in several films such as Jayam Manade Raa (2000) and Chennakesava Reddy (2002). Later in his career, he was also featured in many comic roles. He died at his home in Guntur on 8 September 2020, at an age of 74, from massive cardiac arrest. Jai Bolo Telangana is a 2011 Telugu-language historical drama film based on the Telangana Movement, produced & directed by N.Shankar on Mahalakshmi Arts banner and Cinematography by T. Surendra Reddy. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Smriti Irani, Meera Nandan, Sandeep Singh and music composed by Chakri. Beginning with the 1948 movement against the annexing of Seemandhra region with Hyderabad into state of andhra pradesh, and the circumstances that arose since then, the movie covered the significant events until the tumultuous days at Osmania University in 2009. With the police beating up many peaceful Telangana agitators and Telangana people committing suicide for the formation of a separate Telangana state- all real life incidents. It also shows how politicians from seemandhra region have manipulated and bribed the media often.
Ahuti Prasad was an Indian actor who worked in Telugu film industry. He was renowned for the wide variety of roles he played, including father-figure, comedian, and antagonist. Prasad appeared in over 150 films in his career spanning nearly three decades. He got his moniker "Ahuti" after playing the antagonist in the film Ahuti (1988). He is a recipient of two Nandi Awards.
