The NFCA National Player of the Year is an award given by Schutt Sports to the best college softball player of the year. The award has been given annually since 2016. In 2019, the award was split into two honors, the player and pitchers of the year. The award is voted on by the members of the NFCA's NCAA Division I All-American Committee. [1]

She played for the UCLA Bruins at the catcher position on-and-off from 1997 to 2002, winning a National Championship in 1999. She also won two Olympic gold medals and one silver medal for Team USA.

Megan Good is an American, former collegiate 4-time All-American, right-handed hitting softball pitcher, originally from Mount Sidney, Virginia. She would go on to be named a 4-time First Team All-Colonial Athletic Association conference, Rookie of The Year, 4-time Pitcher of The Year and also Player of The Year in 2017. She is the career Triple Crown pitching leader for the Dukes as well as the ERA record holder for the CAA conference. She played for the USSSA Pride after being drafted to the NPF 10th overall. She would go on to win the Cowles Cup Championship with the team in her rookie year.

The Florida Gators softball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of softball. Florida competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Gators play their home games at Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus, and are currently led by head coach Tim Walton. In the twenty-six year history of the Florida Softball program, the team has won two Women's College World Series (WCWS) national championships, nine SEC regular season championships, five SEC tournament championships, and have made eleven WCWS appearances.

UCLA Bruins softball

The UCLA Bruins softball team represents the University of California, Los Angeles in NCAA Division I softball. The Bruins are among the most decorated programs in NCAA softball, leading all schools in NCAA championships with 12, 13 overall Women's College World Series championships, championship game appearances with 22, WCWS appearances with 29, and NCAA Tournament wins with 187. They have dominated against top programs like Arizona (92-59), Washington (62-35), and Alabama (9-1).

The Women's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament will be held annually in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, will end in June 2019.

Rachel Lauren Garcia is an American, former collegiate four-time All-American softball pitcher and current volunteer assistant head coach for San Diego State. She played for the UCLA Bruins and led the Bruins to the 2019 Women's College World Series championship, where she was named the Most Outstanding Player.

Montana Fouts is an American All-American softball pitcher for the Alabama Crimson Tide. She is best known for pitching a perfect game against UCLA in the 2021 Women's College World Series.

The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2021 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and 2021 Women's College World Series. The Women's College World Series, consisted of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament was held in Oklahoma City at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium, and ended on June 10, 2021.

The NFCA National Freshman of the Year is an award given by Schutt Sports to the best college softball freshman of the year. The award has been given annually since 2014. The award is voted on by the members of the NFCA's NCAA Division I All-American Committee.

The NFCA Catcher of the Year is an award given by Diamond Sports to the best college softball catcher from an NFCA member institution. A committee of elected head coaches selects the winner of the award.

The NFCA Golden Shoe Award is an award given by New Balance to the best college softball base stealer from an NFCA member institution. A committee of elected head coaches selects the winner of the award.

Giselle "G" Juarez is an American, former collegiate All-American softball pitcher. She played college softball at Oklahoma and Arizona State.

Megan Ki'llani Faraimo is an American college softball pitcher for the UCLA Bruins. As a sophomore in 2020, she was named Softball America Pitcher of the Year.

Danielle Lauren Williams is an American college softball player for the Northwestern Wildcats. As a freshman in 2019, she was named NFCA National Freshman of the Year.
