Abbey Cheek (born March 18,1997) is an American softball player for the USSSA Florida Pride of the Women's Professional Fastpitch League (WPF) and an Assistant softball coach at Bethune-Cookman University.
Cheek attended Chapman High School in Inman,South Carolina. [1]
Cheek attended the University of Kentucky where she played for the Kentucky Wildcats softball team. [2] She is Kentucky softball's career leader in home runs. [3] [4] [5] [6] Cheek led the Wildcats to four consecutive NCAA Division I softball tournament appearances from 2016 to 2019,including three appearances in the Super Regionals from 2017 to 2019. [7] During her senior season,she ranked second nationally with 64 walks and was third with a .602 on-base percentage and .908 slugging percentage. As the Wildcats’first-ever SEC Player of the Year,Cheek hit .428 with 13 doubles,20 long balls,53 RBI,54 runs scored and posted an OPS of 1.536. Following the season she was named NFCA National Player of the Year. [8]
Cheek was drafted by the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch in the third round of the 2019 NPF Draft. [9] During the 2019 season,Cheek was named the NPF Rookie of the Year. [10]
Jennie Lynn Finch Daigle is an American former softball player. She played for the Arizona Wildcats softball team from 1999 to 2002,where she won the 2001 Women's College World Series and was named collegiate All-American. Later she led the United States women's national softball team to the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She also pitched for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch from 2005 to 2010.
Monica Cecilia Abbott is a retired American professional softball player. Abbott was an All-American pitcher for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers in college before starting a professional career in the NPF and in the Japan Softball League. In international competition,she has played for Team USA from 2005 including the national softball team winning a silver medal at the 2008 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Abbott is the NCAA Division I leader in wins,strikeouts,shutouts and innings.

Natasha Renee Watley is an American,former collegiate four-time first-team All-American,two-time medal winning Olympian,retired seven-time pro-All-Star softball player. Watley played college softball at UCLA,and helped the Bruins win a national championship. She represented the United States women's national softball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She won a gold medal,and again at the 2008 Summer Olympics,and won a silver medal.
Megan Lynn Gibson-Loftin is an American,former collegiate All-American,professional softball pitcher and current director of softball operations for Twelve Softball. She is also the former pitching coach at Houston. Gibson-Loftin played college softball for Texas A&M where she is the career leader in offense walks and led them to a runner-up finish at the 2008 Women's College World Series. She also ranks top-10 in the latter category and home runs in the Big 12 Conference. She was selected by the Philadelphia Force as the second overall pick in the 2008 NPF Draft,eventually playing for four seasons. After the Force folded she was picked up by the Tennessee Diamonds in 2010.
Tammy Kay Williams is an American,former collegiate four-time All-American,four-time professional All-Star softball player and coach. She played her natural position at shortstop from 2006 to 2009 at Northwestern,as well as the Team USA and Chicago Bandits softball team. She owns Northwestern' softball team all-time career records in batting average,home runs,hits and total bases. She helped lead the Wildcats to a national runner up finish in the 2006 Women's College World Series. Williams was drafted tenth overall by the Chicago Bandits in the 2009 NPF Draft,winning two Cowles Cup championships in 2011 and 2015. She later worked as a sports broadcaster for the Big Ten and an assistant softball coach at Northern Illinois.
Charlotte Lee Morgan is an America],former professional softball pitcher and current Head Coach for Cal State Northridge. She played college softball for Alabama from 2007 to 2010,where she is the career leader for the school in RBIs,also ranking top-15 in the NCAA Division I. She was also named a four-time all-conference honoree and twice named SEC Player of the Year. Morgan was the No. 1 draft pick in the 2010 National Pro Fastpitch Senior Draft,beginning her career with The USSSA Pride based in Kissimmee,Florida,winning a title in 2010. In 2020,Morgan was named the head coach of the California State University,Northridge softball team after previously working at several colleges as a pitching coach.

Waldrop was drafted third overall in the 2015 NPF Draft by the Chicago Bandits,and won two consecutive Cowles Cup championships with the Bandits in 2015 and 2016.
