Kristen Butler (born May 13, 1984) is an American, former four-time professional All-Star softball catcher and current head coach for Rutgers. [1] She played college softball for Florida in the Southeastern Conference from 2003 to 2006 and won the SEC Player of the Year award in 2006. She later went undrafted but played in the National Pro Fastpitch from 2006 to 2009, 12 for the Akron Racers and Chicago Bandits; currently Butler ranks top-10 in career RBIs and home runs for the league. The 2019 Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team represented Rutgers University during the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Scarlet Knights played their home games at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey and competed as members of the East Division of the Big Ten Conference. They were led by fourth-year head coach Chris Ash. On September 29, 2019, Ash was fired after 313 seasons as head coach. He posted an overall record of 8–32 and 3–26 in Big Ten play. Nunzio Campanile was their interim head coach for the remainder of the season. They finished the season 2–10, 0–9 in Big Ten play to finish in last place in the East Division.

She is the former head coach for the Purdue Boilermakers softball team. Oliveira played college softball at Wisconsin from 2002 to 2005 and was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference honored player.
