NSFL1 cofactor p47 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NSFL1C gene. [5] [6]
N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor (NSF) and valosin-containing protein (p97) are two ATPases known to be involved in transport vesicle/target membrane fusion and fusions between membrane compartments. A trimer of the protein encoded by this gene binds a hexamer of cytosolic p97 and is required for p97-mediated regrowth of Golgi cisternae from mitotic Golgi fragments. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene. [6]
NSFL1C has been shown to interact with Valosin-containing protein. [7]
ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GGA1 gene.
Valosin-containing protein (VCP) or transitional endoplasmic reticulum ATPase also known as p97 in mammals and CDC48 in S. cerevisiae, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the VCP gene. The TER ATPase is an ATPase enzyme present in all eukaryotes and archaebacteria. Its main function is to segregate protein molecules from large cellular structures such as protein assemblies, organelle membranes and chromatin, and thus facilitate the degradation of released polypeptides by the multi-subunit protease proteasome.
General vesicular transport factor p115 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the USO1 gene.
Mannose-6-phosphate receptor binding protein 1 (M6PRBP1) is a protein which in humans is encoded by the M6PRBP1 gene. Its gene product, as well as the gene itself, is commonly known as TIP47.
Golgi-specific brefeldin A-resistance guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GBF1 gene.
Syntaxin-5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the STX5 gene.
Coatomer subunit gamma is a protein that in humans is encoded by the COPG gene. It is one of seven proteins in the COPI coatomer complex that coats vesicles as they bud from the Golgi complex.
Golgin subfamily A member 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GOLGA3 gene.
Golgin subfamily A member 4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GOLGA4 gene.
ADP-ribosylation factor 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ARF5 gene.
Nucleobindin-1 (NUCB1), also known as calnuc, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NUCB1 gene.
Clathrin interactor 1 (CLINT1), also known as EPSIN4, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the CLINT1 gene.
Golgin subfamily A member 5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GOLGA5 gene.
Protein transport protein Sec61 subunit alpha isoform 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SEC61A1 gene.
Zinc transporter SLC39A7 (ZIP7), also known as solute carrier family 39 member 7, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC39A7 gene. Its fruit fly orthologue is Catsup.
GRIP and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GCC2 gene.
ADP-ribosylation factor-related protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ARFRP1 gene.
BET1 homolog is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BET1 gene.
Neurabin-1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PPP1R9A gene.
Rab9 effector protein with Kelch motifs also known as p40 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RABEPK gene.
