The New York University Journal of Law & Business is a student-edited law review at New York University School of Law published three times each academic year. It was established in 2004 and is available online. [1] The journal covers a wide range of business law topics, including bankruptcy and restructuring; capital markets and securities; corporate law and governance; foreign and international business law; hedge funds and private equity; and tax. [2]

A law review is a scholarly journal focusing on legal issues. Law reviews are a type of legal periodical. In the US, law reviews are normally published by an organization of students at a law school or through a bar association. Outside North America, law reviews are usually edited by senior academics/faculty.

Each year, the journal selects approximately 50 new members through a writing competition that takes place after the conclusion of the first year of law school.

University at Buffalo Law School

Founded in 1887, the University at Buffalo School of Law is a graduate professional school at the University at Buffalo. It is the State University of New York (SUNY) system's only law school. U.S. News & World Report ranks the University at Buffalo School of Law 106th in the nation for 2018, a drop of six places from the previous year, and the first time the law school has dropped out of the second tier. However, many lesser known sites rank the Law School much higher. The University at Buffalo School of Law is No. 1 in Thomson Reuter's "Super Lawyers" ranking of law graduates practicing in Upstate New York, which includes 54 of the 62 counties in New York State. This is in addition to the UB Law School's 2010 national ranking, where it placed 48th out of the 180 law schools in the country that produced Super Lawyers, a measure which examines "twelve indicators of professional achievement". Also, Malcolm Gladwell, in the New Yorker Magazine, devised a formula that ranks UB within the top 50 whereas Reuters ranks UB Law as 48th overall in the nation.

Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law

The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is the law school of Yeshiva University, located in New York City. The school, founded in 1976, is named for Supreme Court Justice Benjamin N. Cardozo. Cardozo's performance as a young school has led some to characterize Cardozo as a "rising star" among law schools. Among the top 100 law schools, only three schools are younger than Cardozo, which graduated its first class in 1979. Cardozo is currently ranked 52nd by U.S. News and World Report ranking of law schools. Its intellectual property program was ranked 12th in the nation, and its dispute resolution program was ranked 6th. The Cardozo faculty is ranked #32 in the nation for scholarly impact.

The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is the graduate business school in the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, a private Ivy League university located in Ithaca, New York. It was founded in 1946 and renamed in 1984 after Samuel Curtis Johnson, founder of S.C. Johnson & Son, following his family's $20 million endowment gift to the school in his honor—at the time, the largest gift to any business school in the world.

The Marshall–Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, commonly referred to as William & Mary Law School, is the oldest law school in the United States. Penn State Law Law school in University Park, Pa.

Penn State Law, located in University Park, Pennsylvania, is one of two separately accredited law schools of the Pennsylvania State University. Penn State Law offers J.D., LL.M., and S.J.D. degrees. The school also offers a joint J.D./M.B.A. with the Smeal College of Business, a joint JD-MIA degree with the School of International Affairs, which is also located in the Lewis Katz Building, as well as joint degrees with other graduate programs at Penn State.
