Konidela Nagendra "Naga" Babu (born 29 October 1961) is an Indian actor, producer, and politician who works in Telugu cinema. He has received one National Film Award and two Nandi Awards for his work as a producer. He is the current National General Secretary of the Janasena Party.

Acting career

Nagendra Babu acts mainly in supporting roles and villain roles, though he has also played the lead role in some films. He has acted in 143 , Anji , Shock , Sri Ramadasu , Chandamama and Orange . He has produced several films with his brothers, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan under Anjana Productions. He has two children, actor Varun Tej and Niharika. [2] He appeared in television serials [3] and was a judge on the comedy show, Jabardasth , which aired on ETV. [4]

Political career

Naga Babu joined Jana Sena Party established by his brother Pawan Kalyan and contested as a M.P. candidate for Narasapuram Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 Indian general election. [5] He lost after securing 250,289 votes. [6] [7]

The Konidela–Allu family is a prominent Indian film family known for their work in Telugu cinema. The family, spanning at least three generations, is involved in films, business ventures, and politics. The prominent heads of the family are actor Chiranjeevi and his late father-in-law, the comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. The family is commonly referred to as the Mega family, a nod to Chiranjeevi's title as the "Mega Star."
