The Naimoli Family Baseball Complex is a baseball venue in Teaneck, New Jersey. It is home to the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights baseball team of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference. [1] The facility is named for the family of Vince Naimoli, a Fairleigh Dickinson alumnus. Built in 2011, the facility has a capacity of 500 spectators. [2]

History

The field was built prior to the 2011 season. In 2007, its namesake, Vince Naimoli, donated $1 million for the facility's construction. Naimoli graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson in 1964 and was the first principal owner of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. [3]

The complex hosted its first game on April 8, 2011, in which Fairleigh Dickinson lost to Long Island 3–1. [4] [5] The field was not completed until partway through the season, and the team hosted games at a variety of venues during the first part of the 2011 season. [6] [7]

Seth Roland is the head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team, a position he has held since 1997. As a player, he won a silver medal with Team USA at the 1981 Maccabiah Games in Israel. As a coach of Team USA, he won a bronze medal at the 1993 Maccabiah Games. His FDU team has won eight NEC championships and made it to the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. Conaty Park is a baseball venue in Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States. It is home to the Bryant Bulldogs baseball team of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference. The facility was opened in 2000 and has a capacity of 500 spectators. It features an electronic scoreboard, bullpens, and dugouts. In 2008, batting cages were added adjacent to the field. Greg Herenda is an American basketball coach and former player. He is currently an assistant coach at Elon. He is the former head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketball team. and previously served as the head coach at UMass Lowell.

Gary Puccio is an American college baseball coach and former player. He was the head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights baseball team from 2011 to 2018.

The 2022 LIU Sharks men's volleyball team, the first ever LIU men's volleyball team, represented Long Island University Brooklyn in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Sharks, led by first year head coach Shawn Patchell, played their home games at Steinberg Wellness Center. The Sharks competed as an Independent. However the Sharks will join the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference in 2023. After a slow start LIU won 9 of their final 10 games to finish a respectable 13–15.

On March 17, 2023, during the first round of the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, the Purdue University Boilermakers played a college basketball game against the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Boilermakers, who were seeded first in the East regional bracket and fourth overall in the NCAA tournament, faced the Knights, who were seeded 16th in the East regional bracket and 68th, or last, overall.

The 2023–24 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's basketball team represented Fairleigh Dickinson University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Knights, led by first-year head coach Jack Castleberry, played their home games in Hackensack, New Jersey as members of the Northeast Conference. During the season, on January 18, the name of the Knights home venue was changed from the Rothman Center to the Bogota Savings Bank Center.
