Namwirye station (Korean : 남위례역) is an infill railway station on Line 8 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway system. [1] [2] It opened on December 18, 2021. This station was constructed for Wirye New Town, but it is not located inside of Wirye.
Namwirye is also the only station of Line 8 on above ground.

The Seoul Metropolitan Subway is a metropolitan railway system consisting of 23 rapid transit, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines located in northwest South Korea. The system serves most of the Seoul Metropolitan Area including the Incheon metropolis and satellite cities in Gyeonggi province. Some regional lines in the network stretch out beyond the Seoul Metropolitan Area to rural areas in northern Chungnam province and western Gangwon province, that lie over 100 km (62 mi) away from the capital.
Seoul Subway Line 5 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, dubbed the purple line, is a long line crossing from west to the east across the Seoul National Capital Area, South Korea. It is one of two subway lines in Seoul to cross under the Han River, which is done at two points. The main line runs through to Hanam Geomdansan Station while the branch line from Gangdong Station terminates at Macheon Station. In 2019, Line 5 carried an annual ridership of 334 million or about 915,000 passengers per day.
Incheon Subway Line 1 is a 29.4-kilometer (18.3 mi) north-south subway line, part of the Incheon Subway system. The line is also included as a part of the overall Seoul Metropolitan Subway network; Bupyeong Station has a free transfer with Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeyang Station connects with the AREX Line which leads to Incheon International Airport and Seoul Station, Bupyeong-gu Office Station has a free transfer with Seoul Subway Line 7, and Woninjae Station has a free transfer with the Suin-Bundang Line.
Sinsa station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 3 and the Shinbundang Line. It is located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu and Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. It will serve as the northern terminus of the Wirye–Sinsa Line when it is opened in 2025.
Omokgyo Station is a station in the west of Seoul on Seoul Subway Line 5. It is considered the principal station of the affluent Mok-dong area, and the Hyperion Towers are right outside Exit 2. Mokdong Baseball Stadium, former home of the Korea Baseball Organization's Nexen Heroes, is a short walk from Exit 4. Broadcasting company SBS' headquarters is located nearby. It is one of two stations close to the Seoul Immigration Office, which is located near Exit 7.
Beotigogae Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6 in Jung-gu. This station was built deep underground because this area is located near Namsan and is quite hilly.
Hanyang University at Ansan station (Korean: 한대앞역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 4 & the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is named after the city's ERICA campus of Hanyang University. Unlike the name of the station, Hanyang University is not right in front of the station. Hanyang University shuttle buses stop in front of the station. Buses usually take students from the station to the university every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. It takes about 10 minutes from the station to the ERICA campus.
Pangyo Station is a station on the Shinbundang Line, serving the planned city of Pangyo in the city of Seongnam. The station is close to Pangyo Techno Valley, one of the country's largest clusters of software, gaming, entertainment and biotechnology businesses, home to major tech companies like Kakao. It began operations on October 28, 2011, with the opening of the Shinbundang Line.

The Wirye Line is a future tram line in Seoul, South Korea serving Wirye New Town. Construction is planned to begin on 5 December 2022 and the line is scheduled to be opened in September 2025, with a projected cost of ₩261.4 billion. It will be the first tram line to run in Seoul since the closure of the city's tram system in 1968.
