Nanette ("Nan") Doak-Davis (born March 7, 1962 [1] ) is a former American long-distance runner who is a United States national champion in the marathon. [2] [3] Doak-Davis attended University of Iowa where she was a six-time All-American in track and field and cross country. She won the 1989 California International Marathon in a time of 2:33:11. [4]

Linda Somers-Smith is an American long-distance runner who is a two-time United States national champion in the marathon. Somers competed in the marathon at the 1996 Summer Olympics. She also won the 1992 Chicago Marathon (2:37:41) and the 1993 California International Marathon (2:34:11). Somers is notable as she is one of the very few athletes who has continued running at the elite level since she turned Pro in 1984 into the transition to Masters athlete. She continues to win and place in Open competition, even at the age of 50, all the while as a practicing attorney.

Barney Klecker is the United States former record holder for the 50 mile ultramarathon, finishing with a time of four hours fifty one minutes and twenty five seconds. This record was set on October 5, 1980, at the AMJA Ultramarathon in Chicago, Illinois. Klecker is a two-time champion of the City of Lakes Marathon/Twin Cities Marathon and the Edmund Fitzgerald 100 km. He was also the winner of the first two runnings of the Tallahassee Ultradistance Classic. Klecker won the 1978 Grandma's Marathon.

She represented the United States in the 10000 metres at the 2017 and 2019 World Athletics Championships, finishing 9th and 10th. In June 2021, she won the 10000m at the 2020 US Olympic Trials and placed 10th in the 10000m final at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2024, she placed second in the marathon at the US Olympic Trials, qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Molly Seidel is an American long distance runner. Seidel represented the United States at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country in 2012, 2013, and 2018. In her first-ever marathon, Seidel placed second at the 2020 U.S. Marathon Olympic Trials. Later, she went on to win the bronze medal in her third career marathon at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. At the University of Notre Dame, Seidel was a 4-time NCAA champion, 6-time NCAA All-American, 6-time Atlantic Coast Conference champion and 2016 female ACC Athlete of the Year.
