Nandgarh is a village situated in the middle of Haryana state of India. It is at the border of Jind and Sonipat. Local 'Boli' of Nandgarh is Haryanavi(with an essence of Punjabi). Before 1966 this village was a part of Sangrur district (now in Punjab). But in 1966 when the government decided to divide Punjab it was assigned a district Jind. The main income source of Nandgarh is Agriculture. From the border of this village flows a canal named 'Sunder Branch Canal'. Mr. Rohtas is the sarpanch of village Nandgarh.

Malout is a town, just outside of Muktsar Sahib city in the Muktsar district of the Indian state of Punjab. It is in the southern Punjab "cotton belt", where production per kilometer is one of the highest in India. Malout is on NH-354 and NH-9 and NH-7, which connects Fazilka to New Delhi. Sri Muktsar Sahib is a historical city and district headquarters in Punjab, India. The 2011 Census of India put the total population of Sri Muktsar Sahib municipality at 117,085, making it the 14th largest city of Punjab, in terms of population. The second Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Angad was born in the village Matte-di-Sarai (Sarainaga) in the same district. Earlier the city was called Khidrana/Khidrane di dhab, the city was named Muktsar after the Battle of Muktsar in 1705 and the district headquarters in 1995. The government officially changed the name of the city to Sri Muktsar Sahib in 2012, though the city is still primarily referred to by its unofficial name – Muktsar.

Western Yamuna Canal is canal in river Yamuna that was dug out and renovated in 1335 CE by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. In 1750 CE, excessive silting caused it to stop flowing. The British raj undertook a three-year renovation in 1817 by Captain GR Blane of the Bengal Engineer Group. In 1832-33 Tajewala Barrage dam at Yamunanagar was also built to regulate the flow of water, and later Pathrala barrage at Dadupur,Yamuna Nagar and Somb river dam downstream of canal were constructed in 1875-76. In 1889-95 the largest branch of the canal Sirsa branch was constructed. The modern Hathni Kund Barrage was built in 1999 to handle the problem of silting to replace the older Tajewala Barrage.

Rasina is an old village of in Pundri Tehsil in Kaithal district of Haryana State, India before 9th century AD. Its administration done by Pratihars and its situated in the cluster of Pratihars 84 villages. It lies in Kurukshetra of 48 kos area. It is located 29 kilometres (18 mi) towards east from district headquarters Kaithal, 34 km from Karnal, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Pundri and 127 kilometres (79 mi) from state capital Chandigarh 155 km from Delhi. According to a 1918 survey, Rors held 84 villages in Pheoa and 12 villages beyond the Ganges. They had the strongest presence in Indri Nardak and Mori Nardak.
