Nelson Balang Rining is a Malaysian politician from PDP. He was the Member of Sarawak State Legislative Assembly for Ba'kelalan from 2004 to 2011 and is currently the Deputy President of PDP. He is one of the member of the Board of Directors of LAKU Management Sdn Bhd,a Sarawak government owned company,after being appointed on 7 July 2020. [1] [2]

The Progressive Democratic Party,formerly known as Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party,is a Sarawak-based political party in Malaysia founded in 2002. The party was founded in the wake of the de-registration of the Sarawak National Party in November 2002 by a faction aligned to the Chief Minister of Sarawak,Abdul Taib Mahmud,led by William Mawan Ikom. The party has since rebranded in using a new name - Progressive Democratic Party since 2017 and has planned to expand to certain West Malaysian states e.g. Selangor,Negri Sembilan and Johor. It is one of the former component party of the Barisan Nasional coalition. Following the fall of BN in the 2018 general election and in the aftermath of meeting between all Sarawak-based BN coalition parties on 12 June 2018,PDP left the coalition to form a new Sarawak-based coalition of Sarawak Parties Alliance.

Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi is a Malaysian politician. He is Secretary-General of both Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) and its coalition Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS). He has served as Minister of Works in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022. He served as the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and his first term in Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 as well as the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak and former Ministers Shafie Apdal and Ismail Sabri Yaakob from May 2013 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018. He served as Special Envoy of the Prime Ministers Najib Razak and Mahathir Mohamad to East Asia from January 2014 to June 2018. He is a member of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP),a component party of the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerly Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as President of PDP since November 2017. In accordance with its expansion to West Malaysia in November 2017,the party was rebranded with its new name and logo from the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP),a former component party of the BN coalition. He served as the 3rd Chairman of the BN Backbenchers Club from April 2008 to June 2013. He also served as President of SPDP from May 2014 to November 2017 and Deputy President of SPDP from March 2012 to his promotion to the SPDP presidency in May 2014 and previously the Treasurer-General of SPDP. Following the collapse of the BN administration after the 2018 general election and in the aftermath,a meeting between all Sarawak-based BN component parties was held on 12 June 2018,PDP decided to leave the coalition with the other three parties to form a new Sarawak-based political coalition in the meeting,namely the GPS coalition.

The Sarawak Parties Alliance is a Sarawak-based national political alliance in Malaysia. It was established in 2018 by four former Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties operating solely in Sarawak following the federal coalition's defeat in the 2018 Malaysian general election. It is currently the fourth largest political coalition with 23 seats in the Dewan Rakyat,and forms the government in the state of Sarawak.

He also served as the 1st,founding and only President of PSB from 2015 to the dissolution of the party in March 2024.
