Neoserica pararubiginea is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in China (Yunnan). [2] [3]

Description

Adults reach a length of about 8.4–9 mm. They have a dark brown, oblong body. The antennal club is yellowish brown, the dorsal surface is dull and nearly glabrous and the anterior labroclypeus is shiny. [3]

Etymology

The name of this species is based on the combined Greek prefix para- (meaning close to) and the species name rubiginea, with reference of its general similarity to Neoserica rubiginea . [3]
