Nepenthes sibuyanensis is a tropical pitcher plant endemic to Sibuyan Island in the Philippines, after which it is named.

It used to be known only from a single dried herbarium specimen and is the sole recognised species in the genus Nepenthes of which the pitchers are unknown. In 2019 Global Wildlife Conservation announced the rediscovery of the species.

The specific epithet kerrii refers to Irish medical doctor Arthur Francis George Kerr, who made the first known herbarium collection of this species.

Nepenthes longiptera differs from all other Nepenthes species from Sumatra by the presence of wings on its upper pitchers. Morphologically, this species closely resembled N. tobaica, but differs on its much larger habit, the well-developed wings of its upper pitchers, the rhomboid-shaped cross-section of the stem, and the presence of appendage under the lid.

Nepenthes hirtella differs from the closely allied Nepenthes kerrii from Tarutao Marine Park, Satun Province in Thailand, by its oblanceolate leaves, tendril characters, longer lower pitchers, ovate lid, filiform spur, flowers that are solitary or rarely two-flowered that are borne on partial peduncle, and indumentumn that covers all the vegetative parts.
