Nevado Pastoruri is a mountain in central Peru located in the center of Pachapaqui, in the Aquia District, in the Bolognesi Province in the Ancash Region. It is located in the Cordillera Blanca, a mountainous chain that forms part of the Cordillera Occidental of the Peruvian Andes. [1]
The Santa Valley is an inter-andean valley in the Ancash Region in the north-central highlands of Peru. Due to its location between two mountain ranges, it is known as Callejón de Huaylas, the Alley of Huaylas, whereas "Huaylas" refers to the territorial division's name during the Viceroyalty of Peru.
The Cordillera Central is the highest of the three branches of the Colombian Andes. The range extends from south to north dividing from the Colombian Massif in Cauca Department to the Serranía de San Lucas in Bolivar Departments. The highest peak is Nevado del Huila at 5,364 m (17,598 ft).

The Pastoruri glacier is a cirque glacier, located in the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca, part of the Andes mountain range, in Northern Peru in the Ancash region. It is one of the few glaciers left in the tropical areas of South America.
Tuco,Tuku,Tucu or Huanaco Punta is a mountain in the Andes in South America. Its summit is 5,479 m (17,976 ft)) high and it is one of the southernmost peaks in the snow-capped Cordillera Blanca in northwestern central Peru. Tuco is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province, Aquia District and in the Recuay Province, Catac District. It is situated northeast of Caullaraju, between Challhua in the west and Pastoruri in the east.
Pucajirca or Pucahirca is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,046 m (19,836 ft) high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Pomabamba Province, Pomabamba District as well as in the Huaylas Province, Yuracmarca District north of Rinrijirca. Its slopes are within Huascarán National Park.
Caullaraju or Jeulla Rajo is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,682 m (18,642 ft) high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Recuay Province. In the IGN-Peru map, the highest peak is reported to be named Jenhuaracra.
The Huallanca mountain range (possibly from Quechua, wallanka mountain range; a cactus plant ; also called Chaupi Janca or Shicra Shicra lies in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province. The Huallanca mountain range is a small range southeast of the Cordillera Blanca and north of the Huayhuash mountain range extending between 9°52' and 10°03'S and 76°58' and 77°04'W for about 19 km in a northeasterly direction.
Solimana is a volcanic massif in the Andes of Peru, South America, that is approximately 6,093 metres (19,990 ft) high. It is considered an extinct stratovolcano that is part of the Central Volcanic Zone, one of the volcanic belts of the Andes. It features a caldera as well as traces of a sector collapse and subsequent erosion. The volcano is glaciated.
Contrahierbas, also called Yanarraju or Ruricocha, is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,954 metres (19,534 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region in the provinces Asunción, Carhuaz and Yungay. Contrahierbas is located inside Huascarán National Park, northeast of Hualcán.
Caraz, Carás or Caraz de Santa Cruz is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,025 metres (19,767 ft) high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, in the districts Caraz and Santa Cruz District. This peak is inside Huascarán National Park, most precisely southwest of Artesonraju, northwest of Pirámide, north of Lake Parón and south of Santa Cruz Creek. Its slopes are within two Peruvian cities: Santa Cruz and Caraz.
Churup or Tsurup is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,495 metres (18,028 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Independencia District, north-east of Huaraz. Churup is situated south of the mountain Ranrapalca, between the Rima Rima in the north-west and Collapaco and Huamashraju in the south-east, at the entrance to the Quilcayhuanca valley. Lake Churup lies at the foot of the mountain.
Uruashraju or Verdecocha is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca of the Andes of Peru, about 5,722 metres (18,773 ft) high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Olleros District, and in the Huari Province, Chavín de Huantar District. Uruashraju lies south of Huantsán, east of Cashán and Shacsha, and southeast of Lake Tararhua.
Huallanca, also known as Burro, is a 5,470 m (17,950 ft)) high mountain in the Andes of Peru. It is the highest peak in the Huallanca mountain range. Huallanca is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province, in the districts of Aquia and Huallanca. It is situated in the northern half of the range, southeast of the Yanashallash pass and the peaks of Tankan, Ch'uspi and Tankanqucha. Kuntur Wayi lies southwest of it. Winchus 4,795 m (15,732 ft)) is the peak west of Wallanka at the Tuna Kancha valley.
Rúrec, also spelled Rurec, is a 5,700-metre-high (18,701 ft) mountain in the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Olleros District, and in the Huari Province, Chavín de Huantar District. Rúrec is located south of Huantsán.
Cayesh is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5,721 metres (18,770 ft) high. It is located between Huaraz and Huari provinces in Ancash. Cayesh lies at the head of the Cayesh valley, northwest of Artisa and southeast of Andavite.
Nevado Ishinca, meaning "snow covered mountain", is a mountain peak located in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range in the Peruvian Andes. It is located in the Ishinca Valley region and has a summit elevation of 5,530 meters. Ishinca is most often climbed via its normal route, the North-West Route rated Alpine PD-. Ishinca's North-West Route was first ascended by J. Fonrouge, W. Lindaver, H. Salger, H. Schmidbauer and V. Staudacher in 1964.
