New Bremen High School is a public high school in New Bremen, Ohio. Located in Auglaize County, it is the only high in the New Bremen Local Schools district. Their nickname was the Cardinals and their colors are green and yellow. They are a member of the Midwest Athletic Conference.

Nordonia High School is a public high school in Macedonia, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Nordonia Hills City School District. Their mascot is a knight. There are approximately 1,300+ students currently enrolled in the high school. The colors of the school are green, black,and white. It is the only secondary institution in the Southern Local School District, which was formed in 1961 with the consolidation of the Corning, Shawnee, Moxahala, and New Straitsville School Districts. The home of the falcons, Miller High School's official colors are purple and white. In 1993, a new building project established the Miller Middle School and the Millcreek Elementary School on the same premises as Miller High School, bringing the entire campus under one roof.

The Northern State Conference is a newly reformed conference that has existed since 1954. The conference went through many changes in membership and ultimately dissolved in 2015 when all of its members left for other conferences. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, the conference will be reformed with six new schools: Bremen, Jimtown, John Glenn, Knox, LaVille, and Tippecanoe Valley.

The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. It was named the 24th NCAA Division II conference and operates in the Great Lakes and East South Central States regions of the United States. The G-MAC began conference play in the 2012–13 academic year hosting 12 championships and continued to work through the educational assessment program. The conference received approval and became an active Division II conference in 2013–14, hosting 17 championships.
