The New Ten Major Construction Projects (Chinese :新十大建設) refers to the construction plans in Taiwan introduced by then-premier Yu Shyi-kun in November 2003.

The Kaohsiung Metro/Kaohsiung Rapid Transit System is a rapid transit and light rail system covering the metropolitan area of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The metro system is commonly known as Kaohsiung MRT for "mass rapid transit". Construction of the MRT started in October 2001. The MRT opened in 2008 and the Circular light rail in 2015. KRTS is operated by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation under a BOT contract the company signed with the Kaohsiung City Government.
Siaogang District is the southernmost district of Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan. The second largest airport in Taiwan, Kaohsiung International Airport, is located here.

Metropolitan Cebu, or simply Metro Cebu,, is the main urban center of the province of Cebu in the Philippines. Metro Cebu is located along the central eastern portion of the island including the nearby island of Mactan. It accounts for 20 percent of the land area and 61.5 percent of the population of the entire island of Cebu.
Kochi is a major port city in the Indian state of Kerala. The city is widely known as the commercial or economic capital of the state of Kerala and thus good transport infrastructure is critical for the city's economy. The road infrastructure in Kochi has not been able to meet the growing traffic demand and hence traffic congestion is a major problem in the city. A comprehensive transport development plan has been included in the Kochi Masterplan hoping to improve the transport infrastructure. Kochi Metro, the rapid transit system for the city was inaugurated on 17 June 2017. A Suburban Railway system, intended to considerably ease congestion, is also to be built in the near future.
The Port of Kaohsiung is the largest harbor in Taiwan, handling approximately 10.26 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) worth of cargo in 2015. The port is located in southern Taiwan, adjacent to Kaohsiung City, and surrounded by the city districts of Gushan, Yancheng, Lingya, Cianjhen, Siaogang, as well as Cijin. It is operated by Taiwan International Ports Corporation, Taiwan's state-owned harbor management company.
Gangshan District, is a suburban district in Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan. It has 97,843 inhabitants in 2016. The township is part of the suburbs of Kaohsiung City which encompass 10 cities out of 18 in the official Kaohsiung Metro Area.
