News 24 is the first Albanian 24-hour news television channel, founded in 2002 by Italian journalist and former shareholder of Gazeta Shqiptare newspaper, Radio Rash, and Balkanweb portal, Carlo Bollino. [1] The channel's format resembles its Italian equivalent Rai News24. News is updated every minute.
News 24 operates the popular news portal Balkanweb. [2] [3] It was established in February 2000 by the Italian publishing company Edisud [4] (e.g. La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno) funded with a contribution from the Soros Foundation and then sold to Focus Group in 2011. Euronews is a European pay television news network, headquartered in Lyon, France. The network began broadcasting on 1 January 1993 and aimed to cover world news from a pan-European perspective.
Edvin "Edi" Rama is an Albanian politician, painter, writer, publicist, former pedagogue, and former basketball player, who is currently serving as the 33rd Prime Minister of Albania and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Rama has also been the chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005.

Albania competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the nation's seventh appearance at the Olympics since its debut in 1972. The National Olympic Committee of Albania sent a total of 11 athletes to the Games, seven men and four women, to compete in four sports. Weightlifter Hysen Pulaku was officially removed from the team on the first day, after failing a drug test for the banned anabolic steroid substance, as announced by the International Olympic Committee. Albania, however, has yet to win its first ever Olympic medal.

The Air Albania Stadium, also referred to as Arena Kombëtare, is an all-seater, multi-purpose football stadium located in the capital city of Tirana which was built on the ground of the former Qemal Stafa Stadium. The stadium has a seating capacity of 22,500 constituting the largest stadium in Albania.
IN TV is an Albanian television network dedicated to the young audience. It was launched on June 16, 2014 as MAD Albania, a music channel. MAD Albania won the prize of "The Best Albanian Music Channel" at the IMA Awards 2015. Since December 29, 2015 the channel is known as IN TV, and it changed its programming into a general channel.
