Nicholas "Nick" Hoag (born 19 August 1992) is a Canadian volleyball player. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, a gold and silver medallist at the NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013, and a bronze medallist at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Nick Hoag was born in Gatineau, Quebec to parents Glenn Hoag and Donna Kastelic. His parents both played for the Canadian national volleyball team, with his father Glenn the former coach of the men's national team. Nick's older brother Christopher is also a member of the men's national volleyball program. [1]
Nick Hoag began his post high-school career by training at the Team Canada Full-time Training Center. In 2013, Nick joined French club Tours VB. Over the two years Nick spent there, he helped the team win both the French Cup and the French League in both seasons. Nick left the club to join Paris Volley for the 2015-16 season. He helped the team win the French League for the 9th time in the club's history.
For the 2016-17 season, Nick signed with Italian club Power Volley Milano. Now he is playing 2020-21 season for Fenerbahce Hdi Sigorta Turkish club.
Nick was a member of the Canada men's junior national volleyball team from 2010 to 2011. He helped the team finish second at the 2010 Junior NORCECA Championship, and finish 11th at the 2011 U21 World Championship. Nick also helped the team finish 5th at the 2013 Universiade.
Nick joined the Senior men's national team in 2013. He was the youngest member of the squad that finished a national team record 7th at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship. He helped the team win bronze at the 2015 Pan American Games, silver at the 2013 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship, and was the MVP of the 2015 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship, helping Canada win gold along the way.
Nick was a member of the squad that finished 5th at the 2016 Summer Olympics. [2] In June 2021, Hoag was named to Canada's 2020 Olympic team. [3]
William Reid Priddy, known as Reid Priddy, is an American volleyball player on the United States men's national volleyball team and Italian club Cucine Lube Civitanova. He has also played on the AVP tour from 2000 to 2006.
Nancy Jean Metcalf is an American indoor volleyball player. She represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where she finished in fifth place with the USA National Team. She missed the 2008 Olympics with a torn labrum, and was not named to the national team in 2012.

Hélia Rogério de Souza, nicknamed Fofão, is a retired Brazilian female volleyball player who competed for her country's national team in five consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992. She won a gold medal in 2008 and twice won a bronze medal, in 1996 and 2000. She also claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games.
Niverka Dharlenis Marte Frica is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic who currently plays for Indonesian side Jakarta Popsivo Polwan. She played the 2012 Summer Olympics with the Dominican Republic national team ranking in fifth place. She also played the 2010 and the 2014 World Championship earning the 17th place and the fifth place and the 2011 and the 2015 FIVB World Cup with her national team ranking in the eight and seventh place. She won the bronze medal in the 2015 Pan American Games.
Gina Altagracia Mambrú Casilla is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played the 2012 Olympic Games and the 2014 World Championship ranking fifth in both competitions. She won the gold medal at the 2010 and 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and bronze at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Kenia Carcaces Opón, also known as Kenia Carcaces, is a Cuban volleyball player who competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth with the Cuban team in the Olympic tournament. She won the 2007 Pan American Games gold medal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Samantha Bricio is a Mexican volleyball professional player, the youngest player to play for the Mexico national team in its history. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team and Swiss club Volley Amriswil, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, a gold and silver medalist at the NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013, and a bronze medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games.
