Nick Jonas: Live in Concert is the second headlining concert tour by American singer Nick Jonas, promoting his second studio album, Nick Jonas . The tour began on August 8, 2015, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and ended on October 25, 2015, in San Francisco, California.

Background

On May 18, 2015, just one day after the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, where he performed his Double Platinum hit song "Jealous", Jonas announced a new tour across North America to support his eponymous studio album. [1] [2] Alongside of his headlining concert tour endeavors, Nick Jonas opened for Maroon 5's Maroon V Tour on August 15, 2015. He was scheduled to open the October dates for American singer Kelly Clarkson's upcoming Piece by Piece Tour in Canada, but the remainder of the tour was canceled when Clarkson was put on vocal rest by her doctors. [3]

Nicholas Jerry Jonas is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Jonas began acting on Broadway at the age of seven, and released his debut single in 2002; this caught the attention of Columbia Records, where Jonas formed a band with his older brothers, Kevin and Joe, known as the Jonas Brothers. The group released their debut studio album, It's About Time, through the Columbia label in 2006. Nick Jonas & the Administration was a band formed in late 2009 as a side project by Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Performers included singer, pianist, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter Nick Jonas, bassist John Fields, drummer Michael Bland, keyboardist Tommy Barbarella, and guitarist David Ryan Harris. Sonny Thompson replaced David Ryan Harris during the 2010 Who I Am Tour. The group was named after Nick Jonas's interest in the presidency.

Who I Am is the only studio album from Nick Jonas & the Administration. It was released on February 2, 2010, in the US. The group made its live debut performing a single of the same name on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live special on December 2, 2009, on CBS. Jonas cut the album in eight days with producer John Fields, who also played bass. Additional members of the Administration include drummer Michael Bland and keyboardist Tommy Barbarella, both of whom played in The New Power Generation. Guitarist David Ryan Harris played on the album, but a third former NPG member, Sonny Thompson, replaced him on live shows.

The co-headlining tour started on June 29, 2016, in Atlanta and ended on September 17, 2016, in Inglewood, California. Lovato continued the tour as a solo headlining act on September 24, 2016 in New York City, and the tour concluded in Monterrey on October 19, 2016.
