The Ningbo Library and Information Center is a library in the Yinzhou District, located in the Ningbo University Zone (South). It is a shared library, serving several universities in Ningbo.
Construction of the Ningbo Library and Information Center began in early 2002. After a state-wide search in April 2002, the Department of Education of Ningbo appointed Yan Wulin the first chief. Construction was completed in September 2003, with the grand opening on 28 December 2003. It cost 120 million Yuan to build the center. [1]
In 2004, the library won the Lu Ban Prize (the best state engineering). [2] On 1 June 2004, the library of Yinzhou District merged with the Ningbo Library. On 7 August 2005, the number of visitors reached 10,053.
Since 1 July 2011, people are able to borrow books without bond. [3]
As of 2015, the library contains 30,000 books, which are all made in China.
The library was designed by the architect Cheng Taining. The library makes use of natural daylight in interior spaces, as well as natural ventilation and it occupies an area of 29,270 square metres (315,100 sq ft). [4]

Line 4 of Ningbo Rail Transit is a rapid transit line in Ningbo. It starts from Cicheng Town, Jiangbei District, and ends near Dongqian Lake in Yinzhou District. The project was approved on November 5, 2013 and opened on December 23, 2020. Construction of Line 4 started in 2011 with the groundbreaking of the North Ring Elevated Expressway with the second deck of the structure being used for Line 4 trains. The rest of the line started construction on November 30, 2015. The line will initially use 36 sets of six car B-type trains with a maximum service speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).
Yinfeng line of Ningbo Rail Transit (宁波轨道交通鄞奉线), also known as Ningbo–Fenghua Intercity Railway, Ningfeng line or Line S3, is a rapid transit line in Ningbo. It starts from Gaotang Bridge station in Yinzhou District and ends in Jinhai Road station in Fenghua District. Through train service is operated on both Line 3 and the Ningfeng Line. Construction of Ningfeng Line started on December 30, 2015. The initial section of the line opened on September 28, 2019. The remaining section of the line opened on September 27, 2020.
The World First Class UniversityandFirst Class Academic Discipline Construction, together known as Double First Class, is a tertiary education development initiative designed by the People's Republic of China central government in 2015, which aims to comprehensively develop elite Chinese universities into world-class institutions by the end of 2050 through developing and strengthening their individual faculty departments. The Double First-Class University Plan has made new arrangements for the Chinese higher education institution development. Olympic Sports Center station, originally in the plan, it was called Guangyuan Road station. This is a planned elevated three-story subway station with an island platform. The station is served for Line 4 of Ningbo Rail Transit as a destination terminal which was started to construct since 2015.
Panhuo Road station, formerly known as Huancheng South Road station during construction, is an underground subway station in Ningbo, Zhejiang, served by Line 4 of Ningbo Rail Transit. Construction of the station began as planned in 2015.
Haining Library, or Haitu (海图), is a public library affiliated to Haining Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sport. The library is located in Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China, with a main building located in 60-62 Xuelin Street and 11 branches and tens of circulation points located in all the towns and sub-districts under Haining. As of August 2018, the library contains 1.7 million item. It is ranked as a National First Class Library by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China.

The Ningbo Ring Expressway (Chinese: 宁波绕城高速公路), designated as G1504, is ring expressway in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The Ningbo Ring Expressway is composed of east and west sections, with a total length of 85.63 kilometers and features 17 interchanges, 13 toll stations and 1 service area. The whole expressway was opened to traffic on 28 December 2011. It is known as the "golden ring line" of Ningbo.
Ningbo Library is a public library located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. It is under the jurisdiction of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, under the administration of the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism, and is a legal entity established by the Ningbo Municipal Government as a public welfare institution. As the center of Ningbo's public library service system, Ningbo Library not only has paper and electronic books, journals, and newspapers but also has a wide range of collections such as handwritten books, calligraphy, picture albums, photos, music, film, and television materials. Among them, the library has collected the writings of famous Ningbo people as well as Ningbo local newspapers and magazines in the work of preserving in situ cultural relics, which is the characteristic collection of the library. Based on the above-mentioned collection, the library has conducted research on literature resources in Ningbo and surrounding areas. By the end of 2020, the library had a collection of 3.1 million paper books, over 3.6 million electronic books, and 15000 electronic journals.
