Nirmal Sahadev is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He is best known for his directorial debut film Ranam (2018).
Nirmal Sahadev was born in Thrithala, Palakkad.[ citation needed ] He completed his primary education at The Abu Dhabi Indian School.[ citation needed ] He completed his master's degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. He has graduated from New York Film Academy in film making. [2]
Nirmal Sahadev started his film career in Malayalam as an assistant director in Malayalam movie Colours (2009).[ citation needed ] Later he was the assisted the director in Monsoon Mangoes (2016). He has also directed an English short film, named "Sleep" (2012). He was the script writer of the Malayalam movie Hey Jude (2018). His directorial debut film in Malayalam was Ranam. [3]

Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, known mononymously by the hypocorism Mammootty, is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Malayalam-language films. He has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. In a career spanning five decades, he has appeared in more than 410 films, predominantly in lead roles. He is the recipient of several accolades, including three National Film Awards, nine Kerala State Film Awards, eleven Kerala Film Critics Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. For his contribution to film, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 1998. In 2022, he was honoured with Kerala Prabha Award, the second-highest honour given by the Government of Kerala.
