The Nizamabad Urban Development Authority is an urban planning agency in Nizamabad district of the Indian state of Telangana. It was set up on 10 May 2017 by the Telangana state government and has its headquarters at Nizamabad. [1]
The urban development agency with a geographical area of 169.37 square kilometres (65.39 sq mi) [2] [3] spreading across Nizamabad North, South and Rural mandals of the city sees over the infrastructure development and planning for 3,14,035 urban [4] and 3,22,781 rural [5] residents, tallying the overall population to about 6,33,933 under the urban agglomeration.
Telangana Municipal Administration Minister K Taraka Rama Rao released GO MS No 271 [6] setting up Nizamabad Urban Development Authority (NUDA) to merge Nizamabad Municipal Corporation and surrounding 72 gram panchayats & villages [7] situated in six mandals of Nizamabad district.

Karimnagar is a city and District Headquarters in the Indian state of Telangana. Karimnagar is a major urban agglomeration and the third largest city in the state. It is governed by the Municipal Corporation and is the headquarters of the Karimnagar district. It is situated on the banks of Manair River, which is a tributary of the Godavari River. It is the third largest and fastest growing urban settlement in the state, according to the 2011 census. It has registered a population growth rate of 45.46% and 38.87% respectively over the past two decades between 1991 and 2011, which is the highest growth rate among major cities of Telangana. Nizamabad is a city in the Indian state of Telangana. It is governed by municipal corporation and is the headquarters of the Nizamabad district.
