Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is an Indian former international cricketer who captained the Indian national team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. Hailed as the world's most prolific batsman of all time, he is the all-time highest run-scorer in both ODI and Test cricket with more than 18,000 runs and 15,000 runs, respectively. He also holds the record for receiving the most player of the match awards in international cricket. Tendulkar was a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha by presidential nomination from 2012 to 2018.

A left arm orthodox spinner, left handed batter and a dynamic fielder, Jayasuriya together with his opening partner Romesh Kaluwitharana is credited for having revolutionized one-day international cricket with his explosive batting in the mid-1990s, which initiated the hard-hitting modern-day batting strategy of all nations. He was a key member of the Sri Lankan team that won 1996 Cricket World Cup. Under his captaincy Sri Lanka became joint champions along with India in the 2002 Champions Trophy. Currently, he is the head coach of the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
Parthiv Ajay Patel is a former Indian professional cricketer, wicketkeeper-batsman, who played for the Indian national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and played for Gujarat in domestic cricket. Having lost a finger at the age of 9, he initially found it hard to keep wickets, but after enough practice, he got used to it. When Parthiv played for the Indian team in 2002, he became the youngest wicket-keeper to represent a country in Tests. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 2016 Asia Cup.

Sunil Joshi was appointed as chief selector of the senior men's cricket team on 4 March 2020. He was a part of the squad which finished as runners-up at the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy.

Madhavrao Laxmanrao Apte was an Indian cricketer who played in seven Test matches from 1952 to 1953. He was elected to the office of the president of the Cricket Club of India in 1989. He afterwards served as the president of the club's Legend's Club and was the chairman of his family's company, Apte Group. His brother Arvind Apte was also a cricketer. He was a former Sheriff of Mumbai.

Indian National Cricket Selectors are a committee of cricket administrators, usually composed of former cricket players and is appointed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Their responsibility is to select members of cricket teams to represent India at various levels. The term for selectors was increased from one year to two years in 2006, with a provision for an additional year based on performance. The selectors are appointed by the BCCI's three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), which currently includes Sulakshana Naik, Ashok Malhotra and Jatin Paranjpe.
Maturi Venkat Sridhar was an Indian first-class cricketer. He represented Hyderabad between 1988/89 and 1999/00, making 6701 runs at 48.91 with 21 hundreds. His highest score of 366 was the cornerstone for Hyderabad when they posted the record breaking total of 944/6 (declared) against Andhra in the 1993–94 Ranji Trophy; Noel David and Vivek Jaisimha scored double centuries. While Sridhar was batting, 850 runs were scored - the most runs added during a batsman's innings in first-class history. He was the secretary of MVSR Engineering College in Hyderabad.
Pragyan Ojha is an Indian former cricketer, who represented India in all forms of cricket. He played as an attacking slow left arm orthodox bowler and left-handed tail-ender batsman for Hyderabad. He is one of the very few players who have taken more wickets than the runs they have scored in Test cricket. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 2010 Asia Cup. He is the player who got out as the historical 800th Test wicket of Muttiah Muralitharan.
Sidak Singh is an Indian cricketer. A slow left-arm orthodox spinner, Singh made his competitive cricket debut for Mumbai at the age of 15 in March 2015 after impressive performances in the under-15 and under-19 age-group levels. He thus became the youngest player to debut for Mumbai since Sachin Tendulkar.

Nitish made his T20I debut on 6 October 2024 and his Test cricket debut for India on 22 November 2024 during the 2024-25 Border–Gavaskar Trophy.
Vasudeo Jagannath Paranjape was an Indian cricketer and cricket coach. His son Jatin Paranjpe was also a cricketer who later became national selector.
