Normal Fears is the fourth studio album released by Scottish alternative rock group Fatherson. The album was released on 22 April 2022 through Easy Life. [1]
The album is described as "a lush lesson in letting go. Gorgeous, groove-led singalongs steeped in electronics find the band in a playful mode, putting break-ups, old ways of working and everyday worries behind them to start afresh, sunny side up". [1] The album focuses on darker themes of life, with lead singer Ross Leighton saying "As Scots, it’s not in our nature to be optimistic. We find it easier to focus on the bad things in life rather than the good. This time, the darkness leads into light. This is not a break-up album, it’s a build yourself back up album". The album was written and recorded by the band remotely, with lead singer spending his time in his hometown of Kilmarnock, with bassist Marc Strain and drummer Greg Walkinshaw spending their time in Glasgow. The band claimed that this approach to recording the album in two different locations was about doing things differently and "forgetting" what they had learned about recording as a band. [2]
Described as a personal album, critics noted the albums darker and meaningful lyrics than previous releases by the band. Despite this, critics noted that "it is an accessible journey for the listener as the concerns are common". The album received favourable reception, with Narc claiming that the band have produced a "strong release". [3]
To promote the release of the album, the band released the track "Normal People" as the lead single from the album. [4]

Morcheeba are an English electronic band formed in the mid-1990s with founding members vocalist Skye Edwards and the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. They mix influences from trip hop, rock, folk rock and downtempo, and have produced ten regular studio albums since 1995, two of which reached the UK top ten. Edwards left the band in 2003, after which the brothers used a number of singers before she rejoined in 2009. They recruit additional members for their live performances and have toured internationally. In 2014 Paul Godfrey resigned from the band. Edwards and Ross Godfrey later formed Skye & Ross and released a self-titled album in September 2016. Their latest studio album as Morcheeba, Blackest Blue, was released in May 2021 and was preceded by singles "Sounds of Blue", "Oh Oh Yeah" and "The Moon". It features collaborations with Brad Barr from The Barr Brothers, and Duke Garwood, whom Edwards described as "a diamond geezer".

The Seeds of Love is the third studio album by British pop rock band Tears for Fears, released on 25 September 1989 by Fontana Records. Two further singles, "Pounding" and "Caught by the River", were also successful, charting in the Top 30. The Ordinary Boys are an English indie rock band from Worthing, West Sussex. Originally a hardcore outfit named Next in Line, they are influenced by punk rock and Britpop music, as well as the bands the Clash, the Specials, the Jam, the Kinks and the Smiths. Their name derives from a Morrissey song, "The Ordinary Boys". The membership of the band that originally split up in 2008 consisted of founding members Preston, William Brown, James Gregory (bass), and Simon Goldring (drums). In October 2015, they returned with a new self-titled album on their own imprint label Treat Yourself. A 25-date UK tour from mid-October 2015 to mid-November 2015 to promote the album followed.
The Afters is an American Christian rock band founded by Josh Havens and Matt Fuqua. Havens and Fuqua first worked together in a Starbucks coffee shop in Mesquite, Texas, where they performed songs for customers before deciding to form a band. They were initially joined by Brad Wigg from the same Starbucks and drummer Michael Burden and performed with the name Blisse. When Burden left the band, Marc Dodd, who also worked at the Mesquite Starbucks stepped in. Their song "Never Going Back to OK" was the most-played song on R&R magazine's Christian CHR chart for 2008.
The Wombats are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003, consisting of Matthew Murphy, Tord Øverland Knudsen, and Dan Haggis. They have artist services deals with AWAL and Warner Music Australia. They have sold over 1 million albums worldwide. They created several EPs before releasing their first full album, Girls, Boys and Marsupials (2006), which was released only in Japan.
Dive Deep is the sixth studio album by the British band Morcheeba, released on 4 February 2008 in the United Kingdom. It is also the second studio album recorded without the former lead singer Skye Edwards. It has a number of vocalists, and several songs can be heard on the band's MySpace page. The first single released was "Enjoy the Ride" which features Judie Tzuke. The second single, "Gained the World", featuring Manda Zamolo, was released on 28 April 2008.

Dark Roots of Earth is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Testament. It was released on July 27, 2012, in Europe, and four days later in North America by independent German record label Nuclear Blast Records. The album is available in three configurations, CD, CD/DVD and vinyl, with the latter two versions including four bonus tracks. Fatherson are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Kilmarnock, consisting of Ross Leighton, Marc Strain (bass) and Greg Walkinshaw (drums). They have toured with the bands Biffy Clyro, Frightened Rabbit, Panic! at the Disco, Feeder, Twin Atlantic, Enter Shikari and Idlewild. The band have so far released four studio albums, I Am an Island (2014), Open Book (2016), Sum Of All Your Parts (2018) and Normal Fears (2022).

Order in Decline is the seventh studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on July 19, 2019. It is their final release with Hopeless Records as they departed the label and signed with Rise Records in 2023. The band released the lead single "Out for Blood" on April 24, 2019. The second single from the album, "A Death in the Family" was released on June 11, 2019. The band released the third single "Never There" on June 18, 2019. The fourth single "45 " was released on July 8, 2019.
Nine is the eighth studio album by American rock band Blink-182, released on September 20, 2019, through Columbia Records, as the band's first album on the label. The band began developing the album after fulfilling touring obligations for their previous release, California (2016). While Nine builds upon their collaboration with producer John Feldmann, who also produced California, it also utilizes additional outside producers and songwriters including Captain Cuts, the Futuristics, and Tim Pagnotta. Nine is the band's second and final album to feature both Feldmann and guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba.
Thrill of the Chase is the fourth studio album by Norwegian record producer and DJ Kygo. Released on 11 November 2022 through RCA Records, the album features guest appearances from James Gillespie, Zoe Wees, Dagny, X Ambassadors, R.I.Pablo, DNCE, Lukas Graham, Gryffin, Calum Scott, Sam Feldt, Emily Warren, Dean Lewis, Plested, and Stuart Crichton. Production was handled by Kygo, Gryffin, Feldt, and Crichton themselves, along with Robin Stjernberg, Petey Martin, Cirkut, David Stewart, Andrew Jackson, and Duck Blackwell. Serving as the follow-up to Kygo's previous album, Golden Hour (2020), Thrill of the Chase blends pop and dance music much like his previous releases.
