Norman Bellingham (born December 23, 1964, in Fairfax, Virginia) is an American sprint canoer and Olympic champion who competed from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s.
Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won gold in the K-2 1000 m event at Seoul in 1988. Bellingham was Chief Operating Officer of the United States Olympic Committee from 2006 to 2011. He previously had been employed as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning of Turner Broadcasting System in Atlanta, a position he held from 2002.
Bellingham attended Richard Montgomery High School and graduated in 1983. Bellingham is also a graduate of Harvard University where he earned an honors BA in economics in 1993, and ultimately returned in 1998 to earn his MBA.
The 1968 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XIX Olympiad and commonly known as Mexico 1968, were an international multi-sport event held from 12 to 27 October 1968 in Mexico City, Mexico. These were the first Olympic Games to be staged in Latin America and the first to be staged in a Spanish-speaking country. They were also the first Games to use an all-weather (smooth) track for track and field events instead of the traditional cinder track, as well as the first example of the Olympics exclusively using electronic timekeeping equipment.

Joseph Bennet Jacobi is an American former slalom canoeist who competed from the mid-1980s to the mid-2000s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the C2 event at Barcelona in 1992.
András Törő is an American sprint canoer who competed from the early 1960s to the mid-1970s. Competing in four Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the C-2 1000 m event at Rome in 1960 with Imre Farkas.
Ingemar Harald Robert Hedberg was a Swedish sprint canoeist who competed in the early 1950s. He won the silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Hedberg also won three gold medals at the 1950 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Copenhagen, earning them in the K-1 4×500 m, K-2 500 m, and K-2 1000 m events. He died in May 2019 at the age of 99.

Stefan Kapłaniak "Cenek" was a Polish sprint canoer who competed from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the K-2 1000 m event at Rome in 1960.
Juan José Román Mangas is a Spanish sprint canoer who competed from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. He won a complete set of medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold, a silver, and a bronze.

David Carter "Davey" Hearn is a former slalom canoeist who competed from the late 1970s to the early 2000s (decade). He won seven medals in the C1 event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds and five silvers. He also won six consecutive world championship gold medals in the C1 team event (1979-1989).
Jacob Alexander "Lecky" Haller is an American slalom canoeist who competed from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. He won four medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold, two silvers and a bronze.
Catherine Ann "Cathy" Hearn-Röthenmund is an American slalom kayaker who competed from the late 1970s to the early 2000s.

Michael Corcoran is an Irish slalom canoeist who competed from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s. Originally from Dublin in Ireland, he has also lived in Maryland in the US. Competing in two Summer Olympics, Corcoran earned his best finish of tenth in the C1 event in Atlanta in 1996. His twin daughters, Michaela Corcoran and Madison Corcoran, have also competed internationally in canoe slalom events.
Sebastián Ariel Cuattrin is a retired Argentine Brazilian sprint canoer who competed from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s (decade). Currently, he is the Sprint Canoeing Committee supervisor in Brazilian Canoeing Confederation.
Tamara Csipes is a Hungarian sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in Women's K-4 500 metres, and a silver medal in the Women's K-1 500 metres
