North Weems is an unincorporated community in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia. [1]

State Route 200 is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. The state highway runs 19.23 miles (30.95 km) from SR 3 in White Stone north to U.S. Route 360 at Burgess. SR 200 is the main north–south highway of the eastern end of the Northern Neck. The state highway connects the Lancaster County towns of White Stone, Irvington, and Kilmarnock, where the highway intersects SR 3 again, with eastern Northumberland County.
State Route 222 is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. Known as Weems Road, the state highway runs 4.17 miles (6.71 km) from Weems north to SR 200 near Irvington in southern Lancaster County.

The Doswell Formation is a geologic unit of Upper Triassic age, part of the Newark Supergroup. The Doswell Formation was originally named to refer to a geological sequence which forms the lower part of the sedimentary fill of the Taylorsville Basin in Virginia and Maryland. This sequence was deposited by lakes and rivers in the developing rift basin. However, a 2016 study determined that several geological layers in Pennsylvania as well as the neighboring Richmond Basin of Virginia also qualified as components of the Doswell Formation.
Gromshin Heights are the heights rising to 2731 m at Mount Ulmer on the east side of northern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. They extend 35 km in north–south direction and 20 km in east–west direction. The feature is upturned U-shaped with its interior drained by the south flowing Vicha Glacier, and its northeast side marked by the extensive Miller Bluffs. The heights are bounded by Rutford Ice Stream to the east and Newcomer Glacier to the south and west, and is connected to Mount Wyatt Earp on the northwest by Skamni Saddle, and to Mount Weems on the north by Kipra Gap. Their interior is drained by Vicha and Yamen Glaciers.
The Midland Formation is a Mesozoic geological formation in the Culpeper Basin of Virginia. It is a sedimentary unit which formed in a short period of time between the first two basalt flows in the basin: the Hickory Grove and Mount Zion Church basalts. The most common rocks in the formation are dark reddish interbedded sandstones and siltstones, representative of fluvial (stream) environments. Rare but fossiliferous calcareous shale and limestone also occurs, representing recurring lacustrine (lake) conditions. The Midland Formation is considered equivalent to the Shuttle Meadow Formation of the Hartford Basin, the Feltville Formation of the Newark Basin, and the Bendersville Formation of the Gettysburg Basin.
The Nanjemoy Formation is a geologic formation pertaining to both the Wilcox Group and the Pamunkey Group of the eastern United States, stretching across the states of Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia. The formation crops out east of the Appalachians and dates back to the Paleogene period. Specifically to the Ypresian stage of the Eocene epoch, about 55 to 50 Ma or Wasatchian in the NALMA classification, defined by the contemporaneous Wasatch Formation of the Pacific US coast.

A. H. Bull Steamship Company was a shipping company and passenger liner service founded in New York City in 1902 by Archibald H. Bull (1848-1920). Service started with shipping between New York and Florida. His fleet of ships then added service to other Eastcoast ports. The company is also often called the Bull Lines and the Bull Steamship Line or A. H. Bull & Company. While founded in New York, Bull soon move its headquarter to Peir 5 in Baltimore, Maryland. Bull Lines main Eastcoast ports were: Baltimore, Charleston, Philadelphia, Tampa and Norfolk, Virginia. Oversea ports: Porto Rico, Antwerp, Bordeaux, Hamburg, Bremen, Copenhagen, and West Africa. Bull Steamship Line supported the US war effort for both World War I and World War II, including the loss of ships.
