Northlake Mall is a shopping mall northeast of Atlanta in the Northlake community of northern DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. The mall is owned by Texas-based ATR Corinth Partners. [1]
The mall was once owned and managed by Simon Property Group. In 2014, the ownership of the 43-year-old mall was spun-off into a newly formed real estate investment trust, Washington Prime Group, [2] and in 2015, Washington Prime Group completed acquisition of Glimcher Realty Trust - forming WP Glimcher. In February 2016, the mall was sold to Texas-based ATR Corinth Partners. [1]
The sole current anchor store is Macy's (formerly Davison's) which will close in early 2025. [3] Former anchors include JCPenney, Kohl's, and Sears. Kohl's closed in 2016; [4] its location was originally Atlanta's fourth Parisian in 1994, after both Town Center at Cobb and Phipps Plaza in 1992 and Gwinnett Place Mall in 1993. On May 31, 2018, Sears announced that it would be closing its location in September 2018 as part of a plan to close 72 stores nationwide. [5] [6] In October 2019, it was announced that Emory Healthcare will occupy the former Sears building. [7] Emory Healthcare has since converted the building into a mass distribution site for COVID-19 vaccinations, serving as their largest off-site vaccination center. On June 4, 2020, it was announced that JCPenney would be closing on October 18, 2020, as part of a plan to close 154 stores nationwide, which left Macy's as the only anchor store left. [8]

The Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (CID) completed its Master Plan for the Tucker and Northlake area in 2015 - serving as the road map for transportation improvements and land use modifications.
Northlake's regional commercial and industrial centers are to be developed into mixed use, walkable destinations. [9]
Plans remain in the works to turn the mall into a mixed-use office, medical and retail/restaurant complex. [10]
Polaris Fashion Place is a two level shopping mall and surrounding retail plaza serving Columbus, Ohio, United States. The mall, owned locally by Washington Prime Group, is located off Interstate 71 on Polaris Parkway in Delaware County just to the north of the boundary between Delaware and Franklin County. The mall features five anchor stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, Von Maur, Macy's, JCPenney, and a combination of Dick's Sporting Goods/Public Lands, as well as an outdoor promenade which includes Dave & Buster's and Barnes & Noble.
North DeKalb Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in unincorporated DeKalb County, near Decatur, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Opened in 1965, the center currently comprises more than eighty-five stores on one level. The sole remaining anchor store is Marshalls. That store and an AMC multiplex theater will remain. The rest of the mall was demolished in the summer of 2024 and will be replaced with a mixed-use development called Lulah Hills.

Northlake is an unincorporated community in northeastern metro Atlanta, Georgia, United States, in DeKalb County. Although not formally an edge city, Northlake is home to a large amount of office space, retail options, and residential housing. Similar to its edge city neighbor north of Atlanta, Perimeter Center, Northlake's history began with the construction of a shopping mall, Northlake Mall, in 1971. Both the area and mall are named after North Lake, an actual lake within the community. Northlake is located northeast of Atlanta, south of the junction of I-285 and I-85. The area is served by the arterial roads of LaVista Road, Briarcliff Road, and Henderson Mill Road.
Forest Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA. Opened in 1973, the mall closed and was demolished in 2020. As of May 2024, The former Pranges/Younkers building, and the entire east side of the former mall is demolished. Kohl’s operates in its space on the west side of the former mall and TJ Maxx continue operations in the former Staples location.

Eastland Mall is a defunct shopping mall in Columbus, Ohio. The mall opened February 14, 1968 and closed on December 27, 2022. There are 4 vacant anchor stores that were once Lazarus, JCPenney, Sears, and Macy's. The mall is owned and managed by Eastland Mall Holdings, LLC. Despite having no anchor stores, the mall's interior was until recently thriving with many smaller businesses and its food court, unusual for a mall lacking anchors and thus having enough tenants to keep it from being a dead mall. It would, however, later succumb to that fate.
New Towne Mall is a shopping mall in New Philadelphia, Ohio, United States. It was built in 1988 by Glimcher Realty Trust.
