The Norway women's cricket team toured Sweden in August 2021 to play a three-match bilateral Twenty20 series, with the last of the matches having official Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status. [1] The matches were played at the Guttsta Wicked Cricket Ground in Kolsva, and the official WT20I match was the first played by Sweden. [2] On the first day of the tour, both teams shared a training day with Sweden's head coach Jonty Rhodes. [3] Sweden won all three games in the series, including a low-scoring 2-wicket victory in their maiden WT20I. [4] [5]

The 2018 England women's Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in England in June and July 2018. It was a tri-nation series between England women, South Africa women and the New Zealand women cricket teams. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) fixtures, with two matches were played each day. The top two teams progressed to the final on 1 July 2018.
The New Zealand women's cricket team played the Ireland women's cricket team in June 2018. The tour consisted of one Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) matches. New Zealand won the one-off WT20I match by ten wickets.
The 2019 France Women's T20I Quadrangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament held in Nantes, France, from 31 July to 3 August. The participants were the women's national sides of France, Austria, Jersey and Norway. Matches in the series were recognised as official WT20I games as per ICC's announcement that full WT20I status would apply to all the matches played between women's teams of associate members after 1 July 2018. Jersey Women were the only side of the four to have previously played a WT20I. The matches were played at the Cricket Ground, Parc du Grand Blottereau in Nantes. France won the tournament after winning 5 of their 6 matches.
The Norway national women's cricket team is the team that represents Norway in international women's cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Norway women and other ICC members after 1 July 2018 are full WT20I matches.
A cricket tournament was held at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, during July and August 2022. It was cricket's first inclusion in the Commonwealth Games since a List A men's tournament was held at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with only a women's tournament being part of the Games.

On International Women's Day 2021, Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), stated that the India team would play a one-off Women's Test match against the England team. India women last played a Test match in November 2014, against South Africa. In April 2021, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the fixtures for the tour, including the one-off Test match, three Women's One Day International (WODI) and three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches.
The 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played in August 2021 in Spain. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with the top team progressing to the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament. Originally scheduled to take place in Scotland, the tournament was moved to the La Manga Club, Spain, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The New Zealand women's cricket team toured England to play the England women's cricket team in September 2021. The tour consisted of three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and five Women's One Day International (WODI) matches.
The England women's cricket team played against Australia women's cricket team in January and February 2022 to contest the Women's Ashes. The tour consisted of one Women's Test match, three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). A points-based system was used across all three formats of the tour. Australia were the defending champions, after they won the previous series 12–4 in the points-based system. On 17 January 2022, it was announced that the Decision Review System (DRS) would be used for the first time in the Women's Ashes.
The Pakistan women's cricket team toured the West Indies to play the West Indies women's cricket team in June and July 2021. The tour consisted of three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and five Women's One Day International (WODI) matches.
The Ireland women's cricket team played the Netherlands women's cricket team in July 2021. The tour consisted of four Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches, with all the fixtures being played at The Village, Dublin. Ireland's last international matches were in May 2021 against Scotland, while the Netherlands last played an international match in August 2019. Heather Siegers was named as the captain of the Dutch team for the series, replacing Juliët Post.
The Austria women's cricket team toured Italy in August 2021 to play a five-match bilateral Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) series. The matches were played at the Roma Cricket Ground in the Spinaceto area of Rome, and were the first official WT20I matches played by Italy. A tri-nation series including Jersey had been scheduled, but they were unable to take part due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The Thailand women's cricket team toured South Africa and Zimbabwe in August and September 2021. The team first played four one-day matches and three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches against the Zimbabwe women's cricket team, before playing five one-day matches and three twenty-over matches against the South Africa Emerging team.
The 2022 France Women's T20I Quadrangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Dreux, France, from 5 to 8 May 2022. The participants were the women's national sides of France, Austria, Jersey and Spain. Spain played their first official WT20I matches during the tournament. Jersey won the series, after they went unbeaten in all four of their matches. France finished in second place, edging out Austria on net run rate, with Spain finishing fourth.
The 2022 Women's T20I Nordic Cup was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Kolsva, Sweden, from 27 to 29 May 2022. The participants were the women's national sides of Denmark, Norway and the hosts Sweden, with Denmark playing their first official WT20I matches. On the penultimate day of the tournament, Sweden won the Nordic Cup, after they beat Denmark by 71 runs and Norway won their match, also against Denmark, by 34 runs.
The India women's cricket team toured Sri Lanka to play against the Sri Lanka women's cricket team in June and July 2022. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day International (WODI) and three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The WODI matches were part of 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship. Both teams used the matches as preparation for the women's cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Harmanpreet Kaur was named as India's new captain for the tour, after Mithali Raj announced her retirement from international cricket.
The 2022 Spain Women's Pentangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament held in Spain from 11 to 14 November 2022. The participants were the women's national sides of Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Isle of Man. The Isle of Man played their first official WT20I matches in the tournament.
