The Norwegian Mission Alliance (Norwegian : Missjonsalliansen) is a non-profit organization of Christian origin, engaged in development assistance. It is an ecumenical missions organization with roots in the Church of Norway.
The organization was established in 1901 by preacher Ludvig Eriksen. [1] The organizers declared their foundations on the evangelical Christian faith in line with the Bible and the Apostolic Statement of Faith. In addition, the founders emphasized unity among all Christians. From early on, the focus of the organization has been on fighting poverty, often focussing on marginalized groups.
The Mission Alliance focuses on diaconal mission and development projects among poor and marginalized people in ten countries across Latin America, Asia and Africa. The work is sponsored by individuals, companies and the government of Norway (through the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) and focuses on areas including diaconal work through churches, leadership training, work in urban areas, education, microfinance, business development, health and rural development. Notably, the Catholic Church is not a full member, although it sends delegates to meetings who have observer status.
The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is an interdenominational organization of evangelical Christian churches, serving more than 600 million evangelicals, founded in 1846 in London, England, United Kingdom to unite evangelicals worldwide. WEA is the largest international organization of evangelical churches. The headquarters are in Deerfield, Illinois, with UN offices in New York City, Geneva, and Bonn. It brings together 9 regional and 143 national evangelical alliances of churches, and over one hundred member organizations. Moreover, the WEA includes a certain percentage of individual evangelical Christian churches. As of March 2021, the Secretary General of the WEA is German theologian Thomas Schirrmacher.
The phrase Catholic youth work covers a wide range of activities carried out with young people, usually in the name of the Catholic Church and with the intention of imparting the Catholic faith to them and inviting them to practice and live out the faith in their lives. Activities in the field range from small scale youth groups attached to parishes or Catholic schools, to large international gatherings, such as World Youth Day. It is a field which has evolved much over recent decades, especially in comparison to more formal methods of education or catechesis within the church. Nearly all dioceses and a great deal of parishes have some form of youth provision running, although a great deal of areas particularly in the developed world are finding youth work both more difficult and rare as the numbers of young people regularly practicing the Catholic faith continue to decline. In contrast, though, the new and exciting developments of recent decades and particularly the influence of the new movements within the Church are ensuring that youth work continues to be an active and fruitful field.

Superintendent is another translation of episkopos but in Methodist churches this is a role distinct from bishop. Described as "middle-of-the-road" due to maintaining its independence within the church while not separating from it, the association emphasizes the importance of lay involvement and is rooted in 19th-century Swedish revivalism and the Mission Friends movement.
Global Connections is a charitable organization acting as a UK network of mission agencies, churches, colleges and support agencies involved in evangelism around the world. Amongst the several hundred organizations and churches that are members of the Global Connections network are many of the most prominent Christian faith-based organizations as well as many major organizations involved in relief and development. Global Connections sees encouraging churches to become more involved in global issues, including world mission, as one of its key purposes. As part of this, they seek to provide opportunities for church leaders to engage with the leaders of mission agencies.

Carl Olof Rosenius was a Swedish lay preacher, author and editor of the monthly Pietisten from 1842 to 1868. He was one of the country's most widely-heard preachers of his day and has been described as being of "extraordinary importance for the low-church evangelical revival not only in Sweden but also in the other Nordic countries".

The clergy of the United Church of Canada are called "ministers". There are two "streams", ordered ministry and lay ministry. Ordered ministry includes ordained ministers and diaconal ministers. Lay ministry refers to licensed lay worship leaders (LLWL), designated lay ministers (DLM), sacraments elders, and congregational designated ministers (CDM). There are no restrictions on gender, sexual orientation, age, or marital status for any branches of ministry.

The Pentecostal Foreign Mission of Norway is the collective term for Norwegian Pentecostal involvement in Christian missions, i.e. outside Norway. Social work, pastoral work, and evangelism have been its missionaries' most important work.

The Swedish Pentecostal Movement is a Pentecostal movement in Sweden. Many, but not all, of these, are members of the Pentecostal Alliance of Independent Churches, which was founded in 2001. The Pentecostal movement spread to Sweden by 1907 from the 1904–1905 Welsh Revival and the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles in 1906.
United Methodist Church in Norway is an annual meeting of the United Methodist Church covering Norway. It consists of 46 congregations and had 10,684 members in 2014.
The Boro Baptist Church Association (BBCA) is a Baptist Christian denomination in the state of Assam. Established in 1927 by the American Baptist Missionaries and later nurtured by Australian Baptist Missionary Society ABMS. It consists of 219 churches and fellowships with a total population 40,000 above and 18,000 plus baptized members. The BBCA has its headquarters in the Tukrajhar Baptist Mission compound in Chirang district of Bodoland, Assam. BBCA is working in partnership with Baptist World Alliance, Global Interaction (Australia), Asia Pacific Baptist Federation, Seva Bharat, Missionaries Upholders Trust, Inspire India and Tura Baptist Church in Church Plantation and community development ventures to bring transformation in the lives of people, spiritually and economically.
