Harwood Heights is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 8,612 at the 2010 census. Harwood Heights and its neighbor Norridge form an enclave surrounded by the City of Chicago.

Asphodel–Norwood is a lower tier township municipality in Peterborough County in Central Ontario, Canada, with a 2016 population of 4,109. The land on which the township is situated was the traditional territory of the Mississauga, and became open to European colonization following its survey in 1820. The site that would become Norwood was settled in 1823, and it was incorporated as a village in 1878. The township, in its current form, was created in 1998 by the reunification of the village of Norwood with the surrounding township of Asphodel.
Adam Wade Gontier is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the former lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Gontier left Three Days Grace on January 9, 2013. In addition to his work with Three Days Grace and Saint Asonia, he has been involved in collaborations with other bands including Art of Dying, Apocalyptica and Breaking Benjamin.

It is bordered by Bryn Mawr, Avondale, and Harlem Avenues, and is home to the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, which was built in 1833 and is widely considered to be the oldest house in Chicago. The historic district is also home to Norwood Park Public School, William Howard Taft High School, Norwood Park, Myrtle Park, and Norwood Circle Park. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
