Alessandro "Sandro" Gamba is an Italian former professional basketball player and coach. Gamba was a finalist for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005, and was elected as a member in 2006. He was inducted in 2006 to the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame.
Dražen "Praja" Dalipagić is a Serbian former professional basketball player and head coach. He was selected the best athlete of Yugoslavia in the year 1978, and is one of the most decorated athletes in Yugoslavian history. He was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. Dalipagić was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in 2004, and into the FIBA Hall of Fame, also as a player, in 2007. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors.
John Patrick Donohue, M.S.M. posthumous was an American-Canadian basketball coach. Donohue was the head coach of the senior Canadian men's national basketball team for 16 years, and he led them to several international successes. He was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame, in 2013.
Abdel Moneim Wahby was an Egyptian basketball player who played for Al Ahly, referee and administrator. He played for the Egypt national basketball team in the 1936 Olympics. As a referee, he worked at the 1948 Olympics and 1952 Olympics. He served as the president of the Egyptian Basketball Federation (1952–1969), president of AFABA (1961–1969), Vice President of the FIBA (1961–1968), President of the FIBA (1968–1976) and President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee (1972–1974). He was enshrined as a contributor in the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007.
Razija Mujanović is a Bosnian former women's basketball player. She was voted the best female European basketball player three times by the Italian sports magazine La Gazzetta dello Sport. She was elected to the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2017.

He is considered to be one of the best Brazilian basketball players of all time, and to have been one of the best players in the world during the 1960s. Alongside fellow countrymen Amaury Pasos, Algodão, and Rosa Branca, he led the best basketball generation Brazil ever had. At a height of 1.85 m (6'1") tall, he played at the small forward position. He was nicknamed "The Flying Saucer", and "The Blonde Devil".
