The OSS Fighters is a Romanian kickboxing gym and promotion. The company was founded in 2018, being one of the largest kickboxing promotions in Romania, alongside the Dynamite Fighting Show and the Colosseum Tournament. It also promotes mixed martial arts.

Contents

The OSS Fighters are in partnerships with the Superkombat Fighting Championship (SUPERKOMBAT), the World Kickboxing Federation (WKF) and the World Kickboxing and Karate Union (WKU). [2] [3] [4]

In 2020, OSS Fighters started airing live events on Sport Extra with the debut event on Sport Extra being OSS Fighters 05, [5] ending the partnership with FightBox. [6] In Romania, it can be seen on Digi Sport. [7]

One Star Security has been a major sponsor of OSS Fighters since its inception. [8]

Events

Each OSS Fighters event contains several fights. Traditionally, every event starts off with an opening fight followed by other fights, with the last fight being known as the main event.

Cătălin Moroșan is a retired Romanian kickboxer, chanbara practitioner and professional rugby player. He is best known for his time in the Superkombat Fighting Championship (SUPERKOMBAT), where he competed in the heavyweight division. Moroșanu also competed for Local Kombat, K-1, Glory and Dynamite Fighting Show. He is currently a politician and kickboxing promoter, serving as president of the Dynamite Fighting Show.

Andrei Cătălin Stoica is a Romanian kickboxer competing in the Light Heavyweight division of the ONE Championship where he is a former ONE Light Heavyweight Championship title challenger. He was the first to hold the SUPERKOMBAT Super Cruiserweight Championship and held the SUPERKOMBAT record for most consecutive title defenses.

Amansio Andrei Paraschiv is a Romanian professional kickboxer and boxer. He won back to back gold medals in the WAKO European Championships, and is the current SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight Champion. Paraschiv became champion on 12 November 2016 after defeating former It's Showtime 69MAX champion and reigning title holder Chris Ngimbi.

Sebastian Cosmin Cozmâncă is a Romanian Muay Thai kickboxer who competes in the heavyweight division. He is currently signed to the Dynamite Fighting Show. He formerly competed in the Superkombat Fighting Championship and the Colosseum Tournament. He was Cătălin Moroșanu's teammate and training partner.

Eduard Gafencu is a Romanian kickboxer and former boxer. He currently competes in the Welterweight division for Glory. Gafencu is the first fighter to become a two-division Colosseum Tournament champion, holding titles in two weight classes simultaneously. He has also competed for Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS).

The 2020 season was the 18th season of competitive kickboxing in Romania. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, the promotions went on hiatus. They resumed holding events after the middle of the year.

The Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS) is a Romanian kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing, kyokushin and taekwondo promotion company based in Bucharest, Romania, which is owned by veteran heavyweight star Cătălin Moroșanu. It is the most popular combat sports and kickboxing promotion company in Romania. Former head of media and marketing for SUPERKOMBAT Alin Huiu has been managing director since its inception.

The Golden Fighter Championship (GFC) is a Romanian kickboxing, Muay Thai and mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion founded in 2015 and based in Timișoara, Romania, owned by Alin Fălcuşan. It is the third largest kickboxing promotion in Romania, alongside fellow OSS Fighters.

The Colosseum Tournament (COLOSSEUM) is a kickboxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing promotion company based in Romania, which is owned by Gabriel Georgescu. It is one of the largest kickboxing promotions in the country, and takes its name from colosseum.

The 2017 season was the 15th season of competitive kickboxing in Romania.

Cristian Ristea is a Romanian professional kickboxer, currently competing in the heavyweight division of GLORY. He also competed for Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS), Golden Fighter Championship (GFC), Superkombat Fighting Championship, KO Masters and Enfusion. He is the current GFC Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion.

Cristian Spetcu is a Romanian kickboxer. He currently competes in the featherweight division for the Colosseum Tournament, where he is the reigning Colosseum Tournament World Featherweight Champion. Spetcu has also fought in Superkombat Fighting Championship, OSS Fighters, Kunlun Fight, Glory of Heroes, Wu Lin Feng and K-1.

Gabriel Bozan is a Romanian professional kickboxer. He currently competes in the Welterweight division in the Colosseum Tournament. Bozan is a former ISKA World Middleweight Champion. A professional competitor since 2011, he formerly competed for Superkombat Fighting Championship, Vendetta and Golden Fighter Championship. Bozan is also a former national junior Karate champion and junior European champion. He holds the black belt.
