The Get Up Kids are an American rock band from Kansas City, Missouri. Formed in 1995, the band was a major player in the mid-1990s Midwest emo scene, otherwise known as the "second wave" of emo music. As they gained prominence, they began touring with bands such as Green Day and Weezer before becoming headliners themselves, eventually embarking on international tours of Japan and Europe. They founded Heroes & Villains Records, an imprint of the successful indie rock label Vagrant Records. While the imprint was started to release albums by The Get Up Kids, it served as a launching pad for several side-projects such as The New Amsterdams and Reggie and the Full Effect.

0:12 Revolution in Just Listening is the third studio album to be released by Missouri band Coalesce, which was released on November 16, 1999 through Relapse Records. The album was recorded and released posthumously, as the group broke up prior after touring troubles and made the album as they were obliged to do so by contract. Hydra Head Records issued the vinyl edition of the album, and in 2008 Relapse released a remastered version of the album under the title 012:2. The album was included in Decibel Magazines "Hall of Fame" in 2008.
There is Nothing New Under the Sun is an EP by Missouri band Coalesce which features the band covering songs by Led Zeppelin, which was originally released on May 18, 1999 through Hydra Head Records. In 2007, the recording was re-released by Hydra Head Records, which included the full original EP with re-recorded vocal tracks, a new master and all of the Coalesce tracks from their split EPs with The Get Up Kids, Today is the Day and Boy Sets Fire. The initial idea behind the covers album was to not only emulate Garage Days Re-Revisited, a Metallica album composed of covers, but to also allow for guitarist Jes Steineger to establish a musical connection with his father, as he was a fan of Led Zeppelin.

Ox is a Canadian alternative country band based in Vancouver, British Columbia and later Sudbury, Ontario. Sessions@AOL is the title of two separate EPs by alternative rock band Snow Patrol. Both EPs feature the band's performance at AOL music. Snow Patrol was one of the acts chosen in AOL Music's "Breakers" in December 2003, a program to promote bands for months leading up to the release of their respective albums in the United States. Snow Patrol's appearance on the sessions was a part of the program.
OX is the fourth and final studio album by American metalcore band Coalesce, released on June 9, 2009 through Relapse Records. It is the band's only studio album released since 1999's 0:12 Revolution in Just Listening. OX became Coalesce's first charting release, peaking at number 28 on the US Top Heatseekers chart.
Sean Ingram is an American musician and entrepreneur, best known as the frontman for the mathcore band Coalesce. He contributed all the lyrics and most of the artwork and packaging for his band. After several years as a vocalist, he started an entrepreneurial career inspired by the DIY punk ethic, founding the companies Blue Collar Press, Merchtable and Fixcraft.
