O Corpo Sutil (The Subtle Body) is the debut solo album by musician Arto Lindsay, released in 1996. [1]
William Ruhlmann for AllMusic gave the album 3/5 stars, noting the change of direction Lindsay had taken from his days of leading noise rock bands like DNA, and called it "a charming, restrained record, not the kind of adjectives generally used to describe Lindsay's music before now". In his book Grown Up All Wrong - 75 Great Rock and Pop Artists from Vaudeville to Techno, Robert Christgau praised the albums lyrics and called it, "quiet and traditional-sounding - a formal translation of what samba means to Lusophones like Lindsay, for whom it’s a music not just of entrancing groove but of world-class poetry". Arthur Morgan "Arto" Lindsay is an American guitarist, singer, record producer and experimental composer.
William Richard Frisell is an American guitarist, composer and arranger. Frisell came to prominence as a jazz guitarist at ECM Records in the 1980s, and went on to work in a variety of contexts, notably as a member of the New York City Downtown Scene where he formed a long partnership with John Zorn. He was also a longtime member of Paul Motian's groups from the early 1980s until Motian's death in 2011. Since 2000, Frisell's output as a bandleader has included folk, country music, and Americana.
Robert Thomas Christgau is an American music journalist and essayist. Among the most well-known, revered, and influential music critics, he began his career in the late 1960s as one of the earliest professional rock critics and later became an early proponent of musical movements such as hip hop, riot grrrl, and the import of African popular music in the West. Christgau spent 37 years as the chief music critic and senior editor for The Village Voice, during which time he created and oversaw the annual Pazz & Jop critics poll. He has also covered popular music for Esquire, Creem, Newsday, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Billboard, NPR, Blender, and MSN Music, and was a visiting arts teacher at New York University. CNN senior writer Jamie Allen has called Christgau "the E. F. Hutton of the music world – when he talks, people listen."

Pete Fowler is a Welsh artist best known for his artwork for the Welsh band Super Furry Animals and his Monsterism toys and goods. He is a freelance illustrator and "monster maker" inspired by animals, music, folklore, myths, psychedelia and super nature. He has also worked on a number of other projects in the UK and Japan, such as television advertisements, as well as having art exhibitions in the UK and abroad. Fowler works in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, animation, printmaking and sculpture.
Hans Wendl is a producer. He began his career in the music business with the record label ECM Records in his hometown of Munich in the mid-1970s and was associated with the German label for twelve years before moving to the United States in 1986. He was also director of the Gramavision Records label for Rykodisc for three years during the mid-1990s.

The Individuals were a Hoboken, New Jersey-based power pop band led by Glenn Morrow and featuring Janet Wygal, Janet's brother Doug Wygal, and Jon Light Klages. They were an outgrowth of several jam sessions that also included at various times, Bernie Kugel and Dee Pop .The band played regularly at Maxwell's and were a central part of the early 1980s Hoboken music scene. Village Voice critic Robert Christgau called them "easily the best of En Why's Pop Three on stage [the other two being the Bongos and the dB's], scruffy and forceful and lithe".
